I had a wild interaction on my post about the Karmelo Anthony appeal with a criminal defense attorney who, while claiming he hoped Anthony gets an appeal, actually said he wants him to end up with a life sentence. Even crazier, he called appeals a "waste of time." This is proof that you need to vet your legal representation.
