This week and next week we are reviewing both Torte and Hoodie's recommendation of Netflix's Moonrise! This week is Part 1 which incorporates the first 9 episodes and man, were they something. The anime does start off slow, but does start picking up the pace with action and story as it goes! Next week will be Part 2 and we hope that a lot of questions will be answered!

Apologies on the week delay, I was so excited for a trip I did not hit post. This week we did Artsy's choice of Netflix's Lost in Starlight! This movie was unique in a few ways and definitely enjoyable! Next week we are doing a double recommendation from both Tort and Hoodie, Moonrise!

This week was a random choice by Cj and honestly not badly done! We review 2023's Blue Giant, a story about one Jazz and saxophone enthusiast who resolves to be the best in the world, a classically trained pianist, and an amateur drummer! This week was a solo episode unfortunately, Artsy was sick but I did get her rating afterwards! For a DC dive into anime, this was a very good one to go into. While Harley is again the most obvious true main character, some of the other characters really steal the show like Clayface. His version is this is easily my favorite version ever. We are back! Apologies for the week break, we go into it in the episode but shortest version is last week's recording day was my birthday and my friends had plans for me! This week we wrapped up the full Season 1 of Oshi no Ko, and gotta say episodes 2-11 were great! While we did enjoy the worldbuilding and setup of the movie that was episode 1, the rest of the episodes just raised the bar and delving into how the siblings handle their loss is well done along with the handling of other big issues like online bullying.

Well we finished the Apothecary Diaries S1 and not a day too soon since season 2 airs when this drops! Part 2 really answered alot of questions, even questions we didn't even know we had! We learn alot more about our main characters MaoMao and Jinshi, and while we do have a few unanswered questions, the ending wrapped up nicely. We are very excited for Season 2! This week we reviewed Made in Abyss Season 1, a recommendation from ForSho! One thing we definitely loved was that season 1 fleshed out the story a bit more than the movie and went further than where the movie ended. Apologies guys, between weather and tech issues, this episode had issues coming out but it finally is! We watched this movie and it was definitely interesting. This week you get two episodes, apologies on this late upload! Short version, had some personal stuff pop up but we got it handled! On to the anime, Kaiju number 8! We follow mainly Hibino, Kafka, a 32 year old man who always wanted to join the Defense Force but never passed. Also, another major character is his trainee/partner from the cleaning job named Ichikawa, Reno. We follow them through trying to join the force while also hiding a major secret, that Kafka is a kaiju himself! Next episode we will be reviewing another recent one, Solo Leveling!

This week we reviewed Jack's from Featured Anime Podcast recommendation, 2016's Keijo!!!!! I had purposefully dodged this anime because of every clip I had seen being super ecchi.
