Collecting Cardboard

While this may not be as long as usual, that doesn't mean it's not as profound as always. Ok, well, that may be a bit of over reach, but Rob wasn't feeling %100 so Eric let him off easy. A lot of new stuff coming out in the next couple of weeks as well as a couple interesting questions.

Rob's branching out to Whatnot, at least for now. Collectors Universe has grading all jacked up and who are some of the guest signings at the upcoming show in Philadelphia. 

The guys get a little off track early on this one but as always, Eric steers it back on course. Griffey cards are rising rapidly and Eric is debating if he should sell or not. 

When it comes to judging Pokemon conditions, Rob is apparently clueless. A restored Honus Wagner sells for a lot of money and as far as Rob and Eric are concerned, PSA has a monopoly. 

The National is going on right now, yes, right now in Chicago, and no, we are not there, sadly, but we can sure talk about it.  eBay is lowering their authentication threshold and Topps sure is printing a lot of chrome cards.

PSA installed some recent changes, which, "surprisingly," are not great.  A lot of new releases are coming out and also, what's going on with X (aka: Twitter)

Rob and Eric are both left unimpressed by a couple of new Topps releases. Are there too many card shows? Rob's Dad made a list of players he thinks should be in the HOF, find out if you agree or not.

PSA floated some possible new ideas by their customers and yeah....Figuring out how to move cards and what to try and get out of them.
