Episode 61: What Lies Beyond The Veil // Harper Woods

Mother/Sister Standard: No for Mom, Yes for Sister!

Spice: 4/5

Prepare yourself for quite the spicy book, at least in the last half! The world building though and the characters are structured well and the story had me hooked the whole time! I definitely recommend!

Episode 60: All The Ugly Things // Stacy Lynn

Mother/Sister Standard: Yes to both!

Spicy Scale: 1/5, very mild!

Beautiful story about growth and your heart aches for our female character Lily but no matter how many times she is knocked down, she gets right back up!

Highly recommend picking up this book!

Episode 56: Shake Off The Ghosts // Miranda Newfield

I laughed out loud SO many times during this book! Seriously in my top 10 favorites for the year. The characters were relatable, the story was perfect, and set in Ireland, for real heart eyes all the way. Definitely going to read Miranda's other books!

Episode 55: Heroes of Chance Creek (Book 1 & 2) // Cora Seton

On this week's episode we talk about a series recommendation from my mom! Very cute and quick reads about 4 military brothers needing to find wives by the end of the year in order to keep their ranch.

Episode 51: [FT MOM AND SISTER] Long Live the Elf Queen / JM Kearl

I'm SOOOO excited that my mom and sister could be on this episode with me. We all have loved this series so it made sense to read them together so that we can talk about it here on the podcast. I'm glad we did because there were so many details that came out in this episode that I never would've thought about before!

I hope you enjoy!

Episode 50: It Starts With Us // Colleen Hoover

Episode 49: The Last Dragon King // Leia Stone

The Dragon King is looking for a wife.

This news throws the women in my village into a tizzy. The king will be sending out the royal guard to bring women of childbearing age to his castle in Jade City.

There is only one requirement: the woman must carry enough magic to produce an heir for him.

I’m a watered-down human with a mere ten percent dragon magic lineage, I know I won’t be chosen, but for some reason the magic sniffers command me to present myself to the king as a po...

Episode 48: A Forbidden Fate // Kaven Hirning

I immediately fell in love with this world, like you can tell that the author is just getting started with everything, i want to know more! Also Kaven understands us book obsessed individuals! I didn't find out until after I read the book that she is very popular on Tiktok and I actually already follow her too! She is one of us. The characters were so effortlessly funny, I instantly knew I would love anything Kaven writes!

A centuries long war, an enchanted wood, and a curse.

Idalia leaves her castle to...

Episode 47: The American Roommate Experiment / Elena Armas

One of my TOP FAVORITE books now!! Seriously the chemistry between these two characters is off the chart and it really sucked me into the story of them!

"Rosie Graham has a problem. A few, actually. She just quit her well paid job to focus on her secret career as a romance writer. She hasn’t told her family and now has terrible writer’s block. Then, the ceiling of her New York apartment literally crumbles on her. Luckily she has her best friend Lina’s spare key while she’s out of town. But Rosie doesn’t know tha...

Episode 46: 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo // Taylor Jenkins Reid

With over 123K reviews on Amazon, it might give you a hint on how amazing this book might be, right!?

This is surprisingly a historical romance, i saying surprisingly because it honestly felt like a non fiction (Elizabeth Taylor, anyone?). The characters felt SO REAL!

When we think romance, we think swoon-worthy moments - love letters/texts, and surface-level issues that are solved within the matter of a few pages. But this love was nothing near surface-level. There was love and lust, but there was also loss and betrayal. Mistakes and apologies, some that led...

I read (and also attempted to read) 4 books this past week! It turned out that I loved half and didn't like the other half. Weird how that worked! Here they are:

The Grump Girl's Friday (don't recommend)- Sofia Summers

Does It Hurt? (REALLY don't recommend)- H.D.Carlton

When Gracie Met The Grump (LOVED LOVED LOVED)- Mariana Zapata

The Simple Wild (LOVED)- K.A.Tucker

Episode 44: [Featuring Husband] The Eragon Series // Christopher Paolini

This series is an unforgettable, worldwide bestselling saga of one boy, one dragon, and a world of adventure! Husband shares the romance part with us along with a synopsis of the action. Very fun listen!

Episode 43.5: MINI EPSODE- Broken Bonds // J.Bree

I wanted to post a mini episode today because on Thursday an episode with the Husband will be posted! I didn't want to leave you hanging with nothing for Tuesday, so here we are :)

Broken Bonds had great character building and the storyline kept my attention for mostly the whole time through the 3 books I read. But let me warn you, Reverse Harem's are not for the faint of heart. This series is SPICY. Also major cliffhanger at the end of the 3rd book, its killing me not knowing what is going on!

Episode 43: The Bodyguard // Katherine Center

She’s got his back.

Hannah Brooks looks more like a kindergarten teacher than somebody who could kill you with a wine bottle opener. Or a ballpoint pen. Or a dinner napkin. But the truth is, she’s an Executive Protection Agent (aka "bodyguard"), and she just got hired to protect superstar actor Jack Stapleton from his middle-aged, corgi-breeding stalker.

He’s got her heart.

Jack Stapleton’s a household name—captured by paparazzi on beaches the world over, famous for, among other things, rising out of the waves in all manner of clingy boa...

Episode 42: It Ends With Us // Colleen Hoover

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business.

And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true. Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made h...

Episode 41: Ugly Love // Colleen Hoover

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask ab...

Nora Stephens' life is books—she’s read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laidback dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart. Episode 30: Stone Cold // Winter Renshaw

Ugh, the sound did me dirty again. Some sections sound rough and I couldn't fix it. So please be patient, I promise its a good episode :)

The most humiliating moment of my life begins with an early morning message from my ex’s notoriously heartless best friend.

In no way does this mean my opinion of you has changed.

I’m reaching out because sometime in the middle of last night you tagged yourself in Jude and Stassi’s engagement photo.

I don’t care if you wer...

Who doesn't love a good spicy book about Royals!? I'm so excited to talk about this series!

Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka His Royal Hotness, is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant - hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you.

Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this...
