Judge Reed O’Conner ruled that the AFT's Final Rule regarding the pistol braces violated what an agency can do without congress passing a law, thus vacating that Final Ruling. In another win, the Supreme Court has determined that bump stocks are not classified as a machine-gun and struck down the ban on them that was set in place during the Trump administration. Colorado has introduced House Bill 24-1292 which would not only ban "assault weapons" but goes as far as other firearms that have certain features. With the democrat majority in both the house and senate, the outlook does not look good for the gun community.
