The Red Sox this week played the White Sox and the Athletics. Reminder: you could not pay me to care about Jordan Hicks.

With the Red Sox sweep of the White Sox, we also saw a multi-extra-inning comeback game. 14 innings of the Red Sox throwing the kitchen sink at winning a series. So far, it is the Red Sox game of the year.

Craig Breslow redeemed himself from last year. He got uncomfortable, he was decisive, and he was aggressive. We grade his deadline performance on a pitch count.

Today's most notable haul was Orioles' catcher, 3x all-star Adley Rutschman. The Sox paid a hefty price that included Carlos Narvaez and top 100 prospect Anthony Eyanson back in the deal, but to quote Tom Caron, "I want parades, not prospects."

The first big move of the Red Sox trade season, Connelly Early is traded to the Washington Nationals in exchange for infielder Curtis Mead.

Jack jumps on for a solo, instant reaction to the trade. It would have been awesome to keep Early but there is a lot of opportunity to wait and see if Curtis Mead can keep up his offensive breakout.

Lucky Number 13, and the Red Sox are on a tear.

An eventful two weeks and the boys are back in a wild card spot. Willson Contreras continues to show this team love, and Wilyer Abreu is starting to catch fire. After a 4-game sweep of the 1st place Rays maybe this team has a little more spark in them than we gave them credit for.

You've talked the fanbase into buying at the deadline. We polled some ideas from the Red Sox Twitter Hive Mind, helmed by the podcasters. We give you YOUR trade ideas...

The Red Sox are red hot. Nine wins going into the All Star break, even with injuries galore.

Sure, sweeping the Angels, White Sox, and Mets may not be a true test, but to stack nine wins in the win column will be huge for this team over the next month. And you've still got your horses coming back.

Our current rotation is Sonny Gray, Payton Tolle, Jake Bennett, and Patrick Sandoval. Even Bello is showing some signs of life. How blessed are we.

Can this team get back in it?

It has truly been an eventful week of Red Sox baseball. It always is, even though nothing seems to ever happen.

We weigh in on the Willson Contreras controversy and the state of the Red Sox team. We are in agreement that Willson Contreras probably wins the fight against the entirety of the Nationals, and would probably somehow still get a lesser suspension.

The Sox are playing the Angels. As much as we are winning, please remember, it is the Angels. Don't hope yet.

What a weird team, man. Blew out the Guardians like it was nobody's business TWICE. Somehow won a game against the Braves with a young pitcher. Lost three games this week to stupidity. That, and the contributions of Greg Weissert.

You know how the Twins series ended with us playing at Fenway in the rain? That's kind of like what the whole Red Sox 2026 experience has been like. They sent us at 3rd for no reason other than we wanted to lose the game.

Baseball games are playing again!

Soup to nuts - how did the Red Sox offseason go this winter. Dollar for dollar, pound for pound, what did all of your Fenway hotdogs pay for?

It was mostly waiting for Sam Kennedy to get a clue.

This team is better. It is. Don't tell me it's not. We would have loved this team with Bregman, Marte, Ryan, but this team is undeniably better than it was. Not the Yankees. Those guys are barely a dingy without a hole.
