It was an historic repudiation, a historic defeat. Americans came out yesterday and en masse said “NO” - what’s going on now is not who we are, must not be who we are. They voted against the dark, ugly, cruel, lawless place that Trump’s America has become. It was a glorious uprising.

Alex Pretti’s parents held a press conference yesterday. They told the American people they still have not heard from anyone in the federal government about ICE murdering their son. And 10 months later, there’s been no investigation into their son’s murder. No one has been held accountable. This should not happen in America. Federal agents raided MN Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s DC house earlier this morning, per the direction of the Department of Homeland Security. 22 days before the election. Why? No one knows what. The Justice Department signed off on it, but as we all know, the Justice Department is no longer an independent agency. This is Trump demanding the feds go after one of his political opponents. Another report out, this time from folks at the CIA, that CIA officers are being moved off of counterterrorism work to move to immigration work. This follows the story from two weeks ago that DHS officials assigned to terrorism and crime were moved to investigating whether noncitizens are voting. This all has consequences. Trump banned three media outlets from the White House over the weekend. Why? Because he didn’t like the stories they wrote about him. Thankfully, the media seems to be finally growing a pair and is suing Trump for the ban, which is a clear violation of the First Amendment. The mad king can’t handle freedom, free speech, or a free press.
