But before we can get to all that, Amy’s cat decides to make an unexpectedly disruptive appearance.

Winter of 83 (2022)
03/18/2023

This week we try something a little different. In 2022 Winter 83 made a big splash online as the lastest analog horror series to go viral. But what the hell is analog horror? The darn kids are always talking about it along with their scarypastas and various nights at robot bear resturant. Fear not, Kyle breaks down analog horror and some of the seminal moments in its rise to prominance. Does Winter 83 work as analog horror? What does Amy think of all of this? Silent Night Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker
12/17/2022

Our trio sit down on a long winter's night, to discuss a film that attempts yuletide fright. Does it succeed at its task? Eh, maybe it's best that you don't ask. We cover this and some weekly frights, plus a bit of news highlights. Our review hems and haws as we review features and flaws, asks does Brian Yuzna break laws?”, and at last gives us time to pause. Popcorn (1991)
11/12/2022

This week Kyle and Jen sit down to chat about the 1991's Popcorn. In many ways, Popcorn is the cool older dibbling who smokes cigarettes and drives an El Camino to Joe Dante's Matinee. But while Matinee focuses on the fear of the cold war, Popcorn doesn't focus. It has a ton of plot twists, insane dialogue, and one of horrors chattiest slashers.

Queen of Black Magic (1981)
10/10/2022

SORRY ABOUT THE DELAY Y'ALL!!!

This week Jen is back in the basement and so Kyle and Amy get to gleefully gab about the gory greatness of 1981's Queen of Black Magic. The 2021 remake was the first episode Amy picked when she joined the show. This is the first time the show has covered an original and a remake. Turns out both are pretty great. This movie has backflips and a guy ripping off his own head. If that sentence appeals to you, come get weird with us.

The movie itself is pretty wild and the crew have a fun time figuring out what aspect of the movie is the wildest. This week Kyle and Jen talk about the high octane melodrama of 1996's Fear. Mark Wahlberg came out of the gate in 1996 with two movies; Fear and Boogie Nights. What if we were to tell you this movie is hornier than a film about 70s porn? The concept of a wood rollercoaster will never be the same. Plus, why does cinema hate architect fathers?

But it's also weird and off putting. It's both, at the same time, and some how it's two great tastes that taste great together.
