Con Air

A Silly Action Movie - but awesome as well. This 1997 Jerry Bruckheimer film stars Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and John Malkovich who are all part of a story surrounding prisoner transfers.
The worst of the worst criminals are on a plane, alongside a man on his way to parole based freedom when things go down on board.
It's an action film, but also a bit mad, so it's a lot of fun too - but as Stephen and Trevor find out, there's also some really deep thought.

The Warriors

One of Stephens all-time favourites. The Warriors is a 1979 film about New York games directed by Walter Hill.
Based on a 1965 novel of the same name, the Warriors are a gang who need to travel 50km back to Coney Island from the Bronx but they are being framed for the murder of a gang leader.
Trev's never seen it, so it's Stephen's time to bring him up to speed.

Jurassic Park

When a wealthy man creates a theme park with a difference, he faces problems with insurance after an incident before opening.
That incident involves one of the main attractions - one of the Dinosaurs that have been brought back to life.
Experts arrive to give their tick of approval, and - well, then it all unfolds.
Of course Stephen Fenech has seen it plenty of times, but Trevor Long hasn't. So we fire up the Fetch connected to the Hisense TV and it's time to enjoy the Best Movies You've Never Seen.

Mad Max 2 - Road Warrior

Mel Gibson stars as Max - Mad Max, and while this is not the first Mad Max, it's the one to watch.

Star Wars

One of the most popular movies, and movie franchises in history. One man who is one of Australia's biggest fans, sits with another who's never sat down and just enjoyed the movie.

The Game

To describe The Game as a Thriller is an understatement.

A cracking cast in a Gangster film set in the 1930's. Robert De Niro, Kevin Costner, Sean Connery - does it get much better?
The story of Prohibition and the chase to bring down Al Capone.

Rocky is one of the best known films of all time, and for Stephen Fenech it's one of his all-time favourites. Trevor Long doesn't remember seeing it, having been born the same year it was released.

Jim Carrey's breakout role that showcases his brilliance as a comedic actor using every fibre of his being to portray the role of the crazy "Pet Detective".
The Miami Dolphins football team have had a crime take place, which calls for Ace's input.
His investigation uncovers a lot of hidden "treats" - and it's a laugh a minute. Stephen Loves it, and introduces it to Trevor for the first time thanks to Fetch and Hisense


This movie may well be the embodiment of this very show. Stephen Fenech rates GoodFellas as one of his absolute favourite movies of all time. Trevor Long has never seen it.

Good Will Hunting

This may well be the best example of this podcast yet. Stephen Fenech has seen Good Will Hunting more times than it had Oscar nominations. While Trevor Long has never seen it.
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon combine to create a drama about a young math genius working as a Janitor at MIT who goes on a journey of self-discovery, love and more.
Robin Williams stars as his therapist, and Minnie Driver his love interest.
A fascinating story that makes you think about almost every aspect of it - in a good way.

A Quiet Place

Trevor Long has never seen or even heard of this movie. Yet Stephen Fenech has seen it multiple times and rates it quite highly.
Directed by and Starring John Krasinski and his wife Emily Blunt, it's a really fascinating tale of a family, stuck in some post-apocalyptic scenario, where they must not make noises - for reasons that will become quite accurate.
It's fascinating as a script, as a story, as well as how it's both shot and sounds.

Leon: The Professional

Luc Besson directs this assassin's tale starring Jean Reno and Gary Oldman - but with a standout starring debut movie performance by Natalie Portman.
Portman is the young 12-year-old Mathilda who is reluctantly taken in by Léon, a professional assassin, after her family is murdered. An unusual relationship forms as she becomes his protégée and learns the assassin's trade.
Stephen Rates this highly, but Trev's never heard of it. So tune in as we unpack the movie end to end and discuss it's variations, strange scenes and overall story line.

A Bronx Tale

This is one of Stephen Fenech's favourite movies of all time, so when he realised Trevor Long hadn't seen it - well, it had to be covered on the show.
It's a 1993 release, set in the sixties about a young boy in the bronx who's life and upbringing is torn between his hard working dad and a local gangster.
Starring and Directed by Robert De Niro it's got that class from the start, but co-star Chazz Palminteri's role is more than just as an actor in this film - as we'll discuss.

This is the story of the season leading up to the State Championships. How everything can turn on a dime.
Stephen has seen it a lot, rates the movie highly, Trevor's never seen it. But this movie has a lot more about it that resonates.

Stand By Me

The 1986 film Stand by Me is less of a blockbuster more of a classic, and in so many ways.
A breakout cast with names that today are instantly recognisable, this is a coming-of-age film directed by Rob Reiner but it is based on Stephen King's 1982 novella The Body
Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, and Jerry O'Connell are the four boys who head off to search for a Body. Stephen knows it well, Trev thinks he knows part of it.

Pulp Fiction, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino is one hell of a classic in so many ways.

A Few Good Men

Few people would not have seen a Few Good Men, absolutely no-one hasn't heard the famous line "You can't handle the truth".
This week Stephen steps us through one of the greatest movies of all time, it's plot, the facts you didn't know, and the plot holes to go along with it.
All the while Trevor is blown away by the cast, and the performance.

American Psycho

Well this is a bit different - American Psycho is a 2000 black comedy directed by Mary Harron and it's one of Stephen's favourites, because he read the book a heck of a lot of times and wants a movie representation to be faithful to the book.
It's about excess and selfishness of the Yuppy era in the late 1980s, starring Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman somehow Trevor and Stephen bring Seinfeld into the episode.
This is a podcast about a movie that everyone's seen - except Trevor.


Surely one of the most iconic movies of all time? Jaws - the movie that scared people away from beaches and created some great lines and great instantly recognisable music from the movie.
