The Arkham Avengers Podcast

Two Managers. Two Interviews. One Missing Damo!

It's interview time on The Arkham Avengers Podcast, and this week Eamon and Captain Fantastical Mick have been handed the keys to the studio!

Has The Host made a terrible mistake? Quite possibly!

First up, Eamon sits down with Teresa, the manager of Silverstroke, to talk Fantasy Football, life at the top end of the league and the challenges of keeping the chasing pack at bay.

Then it's over to The Host's interview with Eoin, one half of the management partnership behind T...

Hector's on strike, Eamon's on the warpath, and nobody's safe!

Welcome back to another episode of The Arkham Avengers Podcast, where Fantasy Premier League meets complete and utter chaos!

This week, Hector has officially gone on strike. Why? Nobody knows. What are his demands? Nobody knows that either. In fact, we're not entirely sure Hector knows himself! Negotiations are ongoing, although nobody has managed to find the picket line.

Meanwhile, Eamon has come out with all guns blazing, firing salvos at managers right across the Arkham Avengers league. From q...

With Captain Fantastical Mick and Hector away on a short international break (apparently they've been called up for national duty! ), The Host and Eamon are holding the fort!

This week, the lads sit down to listen to The Host's interview with two very different Arkham Avengers managers — Owen of Raglan Road, an experienced FPL campaigner with big ambitions, and Emma Kate of Pitch Perfect, our rookie manager finding her feet in the unpredictable world of Fantasy Football.

There's plenty of insight, a few laughs, some interesting revelations and, naturally, Eamon has a thing or two to...

The Managers Speak – A Taste of What’s Coming…

We spend plenty of time talking about the managers of the Arkham Avengers Fantasy Football League — so perhaps it’s time we actually heard from them!

In this special short episode, The Host opens the interview vault and gives listeners a sneak preview of conversations coming to the podcast over the next few weeks.

Hear snippets from Raglan Road and Pitch Perfect, Silverstroke chatting with Eamon, and The Host meets one of the manager...

Five Gameweeks in and the Arkham Avengers table is beginning to bite!

This week The Panel picks through the movers, the sliders and some rather questionable chip decisions.

There are 36-point Wildcards, a Bench Boost that somehow ends with a drop down the table, Ryan Watch, signs of life from Lafayette Lions, and Pitch Perfect discovers that what every struggling FPL manager apparently needs is a good Weltanschauung.

The Panel also takes a moment away from the FPL madness to recognise Epilepsy Ireland’s 60th anniversary, celebrating six decades of su...

Going Up, Going Down.....which managers are on the move?

Four Gameweeks in and the Arkham Avengers table has started moving — unfortunately, not everybody appears to be travelling in the right direction.

This week, The Panel concentrates on where the managers are now.

Who's climbing?

Who's sliding?

Who's stubbornly refusing to move?

And who's staring at the league table wondering how three people have suddenly appeared above them?

The Host attempts to keep proceedings respectable, Captain Fantastical Mick looks for genuine signs of improvement, while Eam...

Gameweek 3 is in the books, and three weeks into the season the Arkham Avengers table is already getting uncomfortable.

Gerry is still clinging to top spot, Teresa refuses to go away, the chasing pack is closing in, and The Spoofer has somehow managed to improve his score while going backwards in the table.

The Host attempts to maintain order as Mick looks at who’s genuinely showing early-season form, while Eamon delivers his usual mixture of analysis, allegations and completely unnecessary concern for certain managers.

There’s movement at both ends of the table...

The Panel are back and after Gameweek 2 it's already getting uncomfortable for a few of the managers......

This week, the usual suspects gather to pick through the wreckage, the masterstrokes and the questionable decisions of Gameweek 2. We count down the league table, tracking every manager on the move - who's climbing, who's sliding, and who might already be wondering where it all went wrong.

And then there's Eamon......determined to secure the interview nobody else could get, our roving reporter takes investigative journalism to a new level. After some patient surveillance from behind trees and...

Eamon’s Got an Exclusive… Apparently!

Ahead of our full Gameweek 2 review, Eamon drops a bit of a bombshell on The Host — he’s somehow managed to secure an exclusive interview with the man behind Raglan Road.

How did Eamon pull this one off? What did the Raglan Road manager have to say? And, perhaps most importantly…who would the Raglan Road manager like sit down with to do a full interview?

A short Arkham Avengers teaser before the full GW2 madness begins.

And remember, if you want to contact the...

Hector is back — and somehow he’s returned with a new job, no phone credit, dodgy Wi-Fi, 27 emails sent to the wrong address and a near-miss career cleaning a Brazilian radio station.

Once the panel recover from that, it’s straight into Gameweek 1 of the Arkham Avengers League. We review all 14 managers, look at who nailed their opening picks, who got burned by captaincy, who backed Haaland, who found some early gems, and who already has a few fires to put out before GW2.

There’s plenty to discuss as The Panel take a look a...

Sam is heading west… and Fantasy Football is back!

In this episode of The Arkham Avengers Podcast, we kick things off by celebrating Mayo bringing Sam home before turning our attention to the new Fantasy Premier League season.

Whether you’re an FPL veteran or taking your first tentative steps into the madness, we break down what you need to know — building your squad, managing your budget, transfers, rolling transfers, Gameweeks, Wildcards, Free Hits and the all-important chips.

We also look at some of the players...

No football this week... and somehow things get even more chaotic!

With Hector still missing somewhere in Brazil, the Host, Mick and Eamon take a break from World Cup chat for an episode packed with laughs.

Mick finds himself in a battle of wits with a smart speaker that's a little too clever for his liking, while Eamon's "quick trip" to IKEA for one bookcase turns into an unforgettable flat-pack adventure.

Throw in a few questionable life choices, plenty of slagging, and the ongoing mystery of Hector's whereabouts, and you've got an Arkham A...

The Arkham Avengers panel wraps up its deep dive into the chip strategies of this season's top Fantasy managers as they finally reveal how the league champions plotted their route to glory. Were the Wildcards perfectly timed? Did the Triple Captain pay off? And which manager squeezed every last point from their Bench Boost?

Away from Fantasy Football, the lads catch up on the latest twists and surprises from the World Cup, with a special nod to France for Eamon, while Hector continues to file ...no....reports from somewhere in Brazil...the panel are wondering if he...

Episode 5 sees the Arkham Avengers panel continue their forensic investigation into the FPL managers, this time analysing the chip strategy of those who finished from 11th to 6th. Some managers mastered their Wildcards, others forgot they even had them, while one Bench Boost delivered the grand total of... absolutely nothing!

Elsewhere, Damo has finally been released from the doghouse (subject to strict conditions) while Hector continues to send absolutely no football reports from Brazil despite claiming to be our World Cup correspondent.

Eamon is still convinced Scotland can shock the world.

The chaos continues on this week's episode of The Arkham Avengers Podcast as The Host, Eamon and Captain Fantastical Mick continue their season review by examining the remaining Top 5 managers in the league. Who rose, who fell, who trusted the process and who simply kept hitting the transfer button?

The lads also take a look at the transfer activity and points hits for each manager.

Elsewhere, Damo finds himself firmly in the doghouse after a secret viewing of the Britain's Got Talent Final, while the panel turns its attention to the upcoming World C...

The chaos continues on this week’s episode of The Arkham Avengers Podcast as The Host, Eamon and Captain Fantastical Mick look back at the rise and fall of managers across the season, questionable transfer decisions and emotional fantasy football damage.

Eamon and Mick head to Clones in County Monaghan for the Mayo versus Monaghan in the GAA Senior All-Ireland Championship where the football, atmosphere and supporters were top class — even if Mayo nearly gave their own fans heart failure in the second half.

Expect football chat, stories, craic and bold opinions.

After the dramatic return of The Host, Eamon and Hector in Episode 1, the chaos continues in Episode 2: GW38 – Tears, Cheers & Saipan Fears of the Arkham Avengers Fantasy Premier League Podcast.

On this episode, we take a deep dive into the final standings of the 2025/2026 Arkham Avengers FFPL season as champions are crowned, reputations are questioned and several managers come under serious scrutiny.

Captain Fantastical Mick returns to the podcast much to Eamon’s annoyance, Hector remains mysteriously missing, and somehow the conversation repeatedly drifts towards Saipan incident and the Saipan movie.

After disappearing longer than a VAR check at Old Trafford, The Host, Eamon and Hector are finally back for The Return episode of the Arkham Avengers Premier League Fantasy Football podcast..........nobody expected them to return… including themselves.

The lads take a quick look back at the glorious, chaotic and occasionally suspicious 2024/2025 season, reveal who lifted the coveted Arkham Avengers Trophy, and cast an eye over the madness already unfolding in 2025/2026.

Where has everyone been for over a year?
Was Hector actually stranded abroad?
Did Eamon finally recover from a disastrous captain choice?

After a totally unexpected extended absence The Host and Eamon are back and ready to get stuck into football business.

Due to the match between Bournemouth and Luton having been abandoned, the lads are revisting the league table for Gameweek 17. Then it is time to take a look at who is moving up, down and who is staying put as The Host and Eamon do a countdown for each Gameweek.

What about Captain Fantastical Mick I hear you ask?
Oh yes.  There are developments on this front as we hear that he is doing s...

NOTE:   At the time of recording the Premier League Board had not made a decision on the AFC Bournemouth vs Luton fixture which h...
