I mused to myself about a conversation I had with a family member recently and thinking on some friends, family and honestly even some celebrities. It’s fine to be alone and it’s fine to be booed up. But do you feel good about it though?

One of the main producers of Final Fantasy, affectionately called “Yoshi P,” said it’s not historically accurate for POC to be in Final Fantasy 16 since they’re going for a medieval flavor. I discuss how inaccurate this is in comparison to past Final Fantasy titles and mention some video game titles that allow more player choice and have actual POC and women in important and semi-important roles. I found a new series to love, "The Case Study of Vanitas." I purchased what I thought was an eight-volume set only to find out the a have two first volumes. So horrible, as I gush over my new love of this series I ponder if I will ever find a second volume. There's also a rant about prescription drug prices, my personal experience with them and how some people may choose between rent/mortgages, food and their prescriptions in this mortal coil. @esan_is_podcast

I decided to do a bonus episode on tweets, was this a good idea? Ehh...It's after midnight, rarely good ideas are had. But, video games were mentioned and not only Final Fantasy! I also wonder if I can handle using a keyboard for gameplay...can I adapt?  Twitter handle: @esan_is_podcast

I give my take on recent events after my lengthy absence and explain why I’ve been away. I also drop several manga recommendations because when we geek we geek hard.

I received an angry call from a neighbor who receives my mis-delivered packages. I also share an idea for a fanfic and how my desire to write in general has really waned over the last few years. Such sadness.

Am I more picky about what anime I watch? Yes, some tropes and genres are pretty repetitive and tiresome to me. Will I still watch select titles from there and some new ones? Sure and hopefully they range from decent to great but especially harem and other fan-service anime, I don’t watch that much any more. I’m back and more focused! On what? Manga! It’s all manga that I’ve been gathering for the last 2 months! Maybe you’ve heard of some of them, maybe not. Find out! I’m back after a long break! I decided to change the direction of this show to be a bit more positive. So of course I talk about my job. But ending on a high note, I was duped once again into liking another isekai title. Such fun!

Silence can be the right answer and Golden. Empty words are counter-productive.

As one gets to know E-San, they’ll find out that she enjoys her some Harry Styles. She saw him in concert and speaks on her favorite songs. E-San is very happy to make this episode.

An update on what I’ve been up to since May. It’s been an interesting month. I promise the next episode will be longer with a poem.

The CDC has come out with more confusing and questionable guidance, especially for people who are unvaccinated. My favorite TV show was cancelled and I lament a bit.
