Johnny was invited to join The Road in Between Podcast to help them interview the University of Washington Huskies QB, Will Rogers. The former Mississippi State signal caller dishes on his journey from Brandon, MS to Washington State University to MS State University & now to the University of Washington. Will's Road in Between has many curves but he shares how his faith continues to guide his path!

Current Mississippi State Basketball and former Madison-Ridgeland Academy player Josh Hubbard is our guest today.  Josh talks about his early days at MRA and what it was like playing for coaching legend Richard Duease and how that prepared him for being such an impactful player at State.  He also shares about the illness he battled when he was younger that put him in Batson Children's Hospital where Johnny was a patient and later an employee.   We talk a bit about his High School scoring title and this years Bulldog team as well.

Ann Hart Preus, a Starkville resident and native of the Mississippi Delta, joins the show to talk about her book “Out of Texas” which she cowrote with Joseph Caldwell Townsend. It is a historical fiction novel that dates back to the 1800s and takes place in cities like Winona, Mississippi. “Out of Texas” can be found at the Book Mart on Main if you are in Starkville or can be ordered on Amazon.
