Derek and his wife took over her families ranch and weren't afraid to make changes to improve their ranches profitability and lifestyle. They switched from an owned cow/calf operation to an entirely seasonal custom grazing of fall cows model that come in the spring and leave in the fall. He shares how this improved the profit of the operation as well as the impact it had on their lifestyle.
