My Biased Opinion

Today, I’m talking about the conundrum, confusion, and spread of outcomes and consequences that come from the decisions we make on a daily basis.

Harsh reality, but vitally important. No matter your goals, all the planning, wishing, dreaming, brainstorming, and talking about them aren’t going to get you there.

And, I’m not talking about you’ve got to go out and do 💯 all the time either. Consistency outweighs intensity. Just start!

Ego is selfish and leads to mistakes, conflicts, bad decisions, and seasons of frustration. It’s tricky though because it doesn’t have to look like arrogance or self-promotional ignorance. It can be an internal, debilitating disease that embitters us toward those around us for reasons they are completely unaware of.

Recognizing our tendency to feed our egos and then disconnecting from it opens us up to seeing value in others and genuinely caring, collaborating, and positively impacting the world around us.

It seems that our trouble comes when we “magically” forget this in the heat of our decision-making moments.

(I’m working on some concepts that have me PUMPED because they’re already changing my life day by day and I think they’ll change yours too.

I’ve fallen into the trap of “trying super hard” many, many times thinking that if I try hard enough I can speed up the process. (That’s false.)

The process MUST be honored…whether you wanna or not. So instead of massive efforts, focus on consistent routines and habits that will take you from here to there.
