Don't Stop Believin' | Do Not Think of Yourself So Highly | Week 3
06/07/2026

There are three forms of pride that often go unchallenged: self- importance, self-pity, and self-sufficiency.  Striving for importance can be rationalized as being underappreciated. Self-pity can be rationalized as being taken advantage of, and self-sufficiency can be rationalized as taking the best care of yourself. Ironically, these excuses for pride are the same ones the Devil uses to turn us against God. Tune in as we learn about the subtlety of pride and how to fight against it.

In this lesson, we will learn how to use our words wisely and lovingly rather than just speaking our minds.

J-Curve | Awakening to Contentment | Week 8
08/13/2025

The final stage of the J-curve is contentment. After Daniel was taken out of the lions' den, he experienced a season of peace and prosperity. But after King Cyrus took the throne, Daniel had to once again go through another J-curve of trial and tribulation to gain the king’s favor. In this lesson, we'll learn how every J-curve is linked to another J-curve, so we must always be spiritually ready for a new season of growth.

J-Curve | Limelight to Awakening | Week 7
08/05/2025

After Daniel’s miracle, he became famous in Persia. It would have been so easy for Daniel to accept his new fame, but he refused it and gave all the credit to God. The awakening stage of the J-Curve is where we are to teach and testify how God got us through the J-Curve. In this lesson, we'll learn about our obligation to boldly speak the truth in love of what God has done in our lives.

J-Curve | Miracle to Limelight | Week 6
07/29/2025

After he was brought out of the pit, Daniel had every right to be bitter toward Darius and his fellow countrymen who didn't come to his defense. But Daniel forgave them all, and because of this, he found favor in the eyes of God. He not only regained his position. He was promoted. In this lesson, we'll learn how to forgive others when they offend us.

J-Curve | Inadequacy to Miracle | Week 5
07/29/2025

When we witness a miracle, we often try to downplay what God has done. But when Daniel was miraculously delivered from the lions, he praised God before he was even taken out of the pit. How easy would it have been for Daniel to be critical after God saved him? But to Daniel, a miracle was a miracle, even if his future was uncertain. In this lesson, we'll learn about the power of praise and thanksgiving when God has performed even the smallest of miracles.

J-Curve | Loneliness to Inadequacy | Week 4
07/15/2025

Daniel’s worst fear became reality when it was time for him to be thrown into the lions' den. This is the lowest stage of the J curve. Daniel had proven himself to be a man of faith and courage, so why would God allow him to be tested this way? In this lesson, we'll learn how God leads us into the impossible so that He can do the impossible.

J-Curve | Fright to Loneliness | Week 3
07/10/2025

Daniel wasn’t the only Yahweh worshipper working for Darius. Other Jewish young men were enslaved with Daniel and served in the high court of Nebuchadnezzar and most likely in Darius' court as well. But after Darius had made the decree that no one could pray to anyone but him, there was no one other than Daniel who continued the sacred duty of praying towards Jerusalem for Israel. We know that it is often lonely to stand up for what is right. In this lesson, we will learn how God uses these times of loneliness as a means to dr...

J Curve | Contentment To Backlash | Week 1
06/22/2025

( Daniel 5:17-30 )

Nothing wrong with contentment, in fact it’s a scriptural command to be

content in life for it keeps us from chasing after things we shouldn’t. With

that said, contentment can also be problematic, especially when it causes

us to settle when God doesn’t want us to settle. As great as it was for

Daniel to be favored by Nebuchadnezzar, God had more in store for Daniel

while in exile.

When Persia unexpectantly conquered Babylon, Daniel had a new boss,

Dari...

Battle To Confess
05/25/2025

This sermon focuses on the importance of confession and repentance, using the story of King David's sin with Bathsheba from 2 Samuel 12. Battle To Defend Those In Need Pastor Charlie Rapp
05/04/2025

In this lesson you will learn how caring for those in need doesn’t come when everything is perfect, rather it often comes when you need help yourself. We are to battle comfort and selfishness for the sake of helping those in need. 1 Samuel 22 we see that David is homeless. Saul had basically kicked him out of his home.  Saul sent Spies throughout the land to find out where he was lodging so he could kill him. However, David found a secret place in the hills of Judea which was a cave to hide.
