An unforgettable night in Buenos Aires, with memories that will last forever. There could have been no better place in the world for our very first Subculture x Kearnage event. The people. The energy. The passion. The atmosphere. It’s truly one of a kind. Five hours of music from John O’Callaghan & Bryan Kearney, spanning five different identities: Hour One - Karney Hour Two - Joint Operations Centre Hour Three - Bryan Kearney Hour Four - John O’Callaghan Hour Five - Key4050 The first Subculture x Kearnage, but definitely not the last. We are only getting started. Enjoy the mu...

This was my first time playing one of the main arenas at Electric Picnic, and I didn’t really know what to expect. I went in with an open mind and a diverse playlist of music that felt right for the occasion. There’s a little bit of everything in this set - my own productions, new and old, tunes I associate with my early days as a clubber in Dublin, some techy bits, some acid, and plenty of unreleased and exclusive material. I also made a brand new remix of Luz - “I’m Lonely” especially for the show, which you’...

An unforgettable night in Belfast ❤️ It felt like a proper celebration. Planet Love was the very first show I played, just days after Kaia was born. So with her birthday coming up, having her join me on stage for the first time felt like the perfect full-circle moment. Playing “Lost Without Kaia” with her standing beside me brought back so many memories and made it all the more emotional. From playing that first show just days after she came into the world, to sharing the stage with her all these years later, it’s a memory I’ll treasure forever. There’s no o...

Following on from Angel Child and I Need Your Love, Forevermore continues Bryan Kearney's exploration of the classic trance sound, combined with modern production techniques. Created to celebrate his daughter's birthday, it's a heartfelt track with a very personal meaning behind it, featuring plenty of unmistakable JP-8000 sounds and influences from that era. First debuted at Luminosity Beach Festival, Forevermore now finds its home on Kearnage. September 4th on Kearnage Preorder on Beatport - https://www.beatport.com/release/forevermore/7336861

Bryan Kearney returns to Kearnage with Over & Over, a powerful trance reimagination of the Italo disco record originally crafted by Jordan Nocturne and Ready In LED. Built around Ready In LED's hypnotic vocal hook, Kearney transforms the original's retro charm into a full-force, peak-time weapon. Driving percussion, a surging bassline and soaring lead melodies push the track firmly into Kearnage territory, balancing raw dancefloor energy with the emotional lift that defines Bryan's sound. A meeting point between underground club culture and euphoria, Bryan Kearney & Ready In LED's Over & Over is both a respectful tribute and a powerful reinvention - proof...

It was an honour and a privilege to close Luminosity 2026, an event that feels closer to our hearts than ever, where each year the trance and electronic music community comes together from all around the world for one unforgettable weekend of music. We’re going to be real with you here. Both of us have had extremely busy home lives over the last few years, with several children between us, and alongside our solo careers and touring schedules, we really did struggle to find the time to put into the Key4050 project. Recently though, we made a conscious effort to re...

Another special day on the beach in Zandvoort. Every year I think this event can't get any better, and every year it proves me wrong. I know I say that every time - but it's true. After a weekend affected by adverse weather - arriving at the event in the middle of a thunder and lightning storm - the clouds thankfully parted just in time, leaving perfect conditions for my evening set on the main stage. I also had the chance to play a couple of brand-new tracks. One was called "Forevermore," while I closed the set with a brand-new...

Fast becoming one of the stand out shows of the year, and the perfect event to kick start the summer season. A real pleasure to play at events like this one, when people make the effort to travel from all over the world. Loved it. Enjoy the set.

It was amazing to be back in the iconic Arches in Glasgow for one final time. A venue that has played a pivotal role in my life, both as a clubber and later as a DJ / Producer. A very special place, with an energy & atmosphere like nowhere else. I hope you enjoy the set. Check out Mauro Picotto on Soundcloud - https://soundcloud.com/mauro_picotto

See The Light is a high-octane fusion of Bryan Kearney's euphoria and Paul Maddox's hard dance firepower. Sweeping breakdowns, soaring leads, and a thunderous kick-driven drop make this track a perfect bridge between genres - equally at home in peak-time trance sets or tearing up hard dance floors. This is energy, emotion, and adrenaline in one powerful package. October 27th on Kearnage Recordings.

One from my unreleased back catalogue, and this will be the first of a number of free downloads on my page. Karney - Habitual Supported by Adam Beyer at Awakenings 2024. Free download enabled, enjoy.

What does it take to go from a raver in Dublin’s iconic Temple Theatre to a world-touring DJ, producer, and full-time dad of three? In this episode of When I Grow Up, host Paul Glazby sits down with trance and dance legend Bryan Kearney for an honest, inspiring conversation about music, health, and life beyond the decks. Bryan opens up about his health battles, including a kidney tumour and life-saving surgery, and how those experiences shaped his perspective on happiness and success. He shares his journey from Ireland’s club scene to global stages, revealing how he balances touring with...

Bryan Kearney returns with I Need Your Love, a soaring trance cut that channels the spirit of the late '90s - euphoric, melodic, and made for the dancefloor. Following on from 2024's Angel Child, this track blends nostalgic energy with modern production, delivering a powerful dose of classic emotion with a contemporary edge. 05.09.25 on Kearnage

Los Angeles, Thank you for an incredible sold out Kearnage event at Academy in Hollywood. I played for four hours in total, starting off with 90 minutes of Karney & finishing off the night with a 2 & a half hour set full of melodies & euphoria. I was going to post the sets separately, but decided in the end to share it as one recording. Thanks, and hope you enjoy the set.

Another special day on the beach in Zandvoort, at an event that gets better & better every single year. It was an honour to close out the main stage on the Saturday night, playing to a crowd of music lovers that come from all over the world, creating a special energy & atmosphere that is unique to the Luminosity Beach Festival. It was so good, I absolutely loved it. I hope you enjoy the set.

Bryan Kearney's high-energy rework of Enigma State's classically influenced track 'State of Mind' has become a standout anthem in his recent performances. First showcased during his 3-hour set at Kearnage London 2024, this rework exemplifies Kearney's signature style-blending uplifting melodies with driving beats, adding a extra dose to energy to the brilliant original from Enigma State. This was without a doubt one of the best club shows that I have ever played. A special night in the city where it all began for me, playing back to back with Mauro Picotto, my childhood idol and the man that inspired me more than anybody else in the world of dance music. The goal for this night was to resurrect the spirit of the Temple Theatre, the legendary Dublin nightclub that Mauro played on many occasions, with an energy and atmosphere that is fondly remembered by everyone that went there. This set is full of little throwbacks & nods...

A truly special night in Dublin. I’ve played there many times throughout the years but that was the best show that I’ve ever done. The atmosphere was on another level, from the beginning until the very end. The goal was to bring back that iconic Temple Theatre atmosphere, and it worked. It felt like being transported back in time to those legendary days. Here is the first hour from a monumental night, enjoy. It's always a pleasure to be invited to play at the A State Of Trance festival in Holland, and every year gives me an opportunity to showcase a lot of unreleased music from myself, my label and my colleagues. This set is packed full of music with melodies, not as much tech, and lots of emotion. I finished off my set with a special tribute outro mix of "By My Side", dedicated to my mother who passed away two weeks ago. I hope you enjoy the set.

Belfast, Thank you for making our Put Down Your Phones event so special, it’s one that I will remember for a long time. The energy, the atmosphere, the production, the sound, it was all spot on. Thank you to all of you for embracing being in the moment and experiencing the night in real life rather than through a screen. I spent months preparing music for this show, with the idea of combining the past with the present. It was my first Open to Close since 2023, and the five hours went by so fast. I loved every minute of it...

Spektre's record label Respekt presents a fiery techno single from Karney aka Bryan Kearney. Karney is the techno alias of Irish trance icon, Bryan Kearney, and this release combines pounding percussion, in-your-face vocals, and menacing melody stabs. This is the first time that Bryan Kearney has featured on Respekt, and it comes after he collaborated with Spektre to produce a track called "Remember the Future," which was released on A State of Trance. "Delante" is the solo track on the release, and it opens with a pulsating acid bassline and hammering kick drum to form a foundation for thrashing hi-hats...

A little token of appreciation for all of your continued support. This has been a big one in my sets for over two years, since I debuted it at Dreamstate SoCal in 2022. I hope you enjoy it.

This track has been a big one in my sets over the past year, and now it's all yours, for free. I hope you enjoy it.

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Ruben de Ronde for an extended interview in the A State of Trance studio. Over the course of 90 minutes, we discuss a wide range of topics from my early days as an aspiring DJ in the clubs and pirate radio stations of Dublin, to the journey of going from an apprentice electrician to a full time international DJ / Producer of almost 15 years. I speak about how hard times and personal experiences have influenced my music throughout this time. There's so much included in this one, and I really hope that you...

'Angel Child' is a euphoric journey that taps into the essence of the golden era of trance music, a time when ethereal melodies and driving rhythms converged to create a sonic landscape that was both transcendent and emotionally charged. This track captures the spirit of the late '90s and early 2000s, with its signature blend of soaring synths, pulsating basslines, and anthemic breakdowns, all on display. Release date : 05/09/2024 on Kearnage https://www.beatport.com/release/angel-child/4695498

Another highly enjoyable night at the iconic Creamfields festival in the UK. I played a little later than usual on the Saturday night but it was as good as always. Lots of new stuff in here, including a couple of brand new remixes from myself that I played for the very first time. I hope you enjoy the set.
