During November 2019, I had the pleasure to be a guest on 'The Opperman Report,' as hosted by US investigator and broadcaster, Ed Opperman. The topic for discussion was The Occult Beatles, including John Lennon's relationship with the controversial British Black power activist and 60s counter-culture figure Michael X, Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills, the ongoing 'Paul is Dead' claims, the Beatles' early years in Liverpool (and its occult connotations), and The Beatles' relationship with the 60s avant-garde movement, plus more. Please listen to all three episodes for the full experience.

Ian Toten - Atlanta Child Murders

Ian Toten makes a welcome return to the Opperman Report with his deep dive into the Atlantic Child Murders.

The Atlanta murders of 1979–1981, sometimes called the Atlanta child murders, are a series of murders committed in Atlanta, Georgia, United States between July 1979 and May 1981. Over the two-year period, at least 28 African-American children, adolescents, and adults were killed. Wayne Williams, an Atlanta native who was 23 years old at the time of the last murder, was arrested, tried, and convicted of two of the adult murders and sentenced to two consecutive li...

Tara Rule - Anand Jon Alexander

The case of Anand Jon Alexander is murky and filled with names, some of which are allegedly guilty of the same things. Alexander is serving 59 years to life for sexually abusing teenage models he lured with promises of modelling and more. Needless to say those promises were never fulfilled.

It's the same story as with others; give a hopeful a taste of that world, and as soon as they are inside, deliver nothing but abuse, misery and worse. His crimes are amongst the worst a person can be accused...

Diddy, Zampolli, Gaetz, Elyse Relford : how was your week?

Hayes was arrested at the Istanbul airport in 1970 with two kilos of hashish taped to his body. The Turkish High Court sentenced him to life in prison. Five years later, Billy escaped from Imrali Island prison in the dead of night – rowing 17 miles across the Sea of Marmara in a raging storm.

On his return to the US, Hayes wrote Midnight Express.

Published in 18 languages, the book was an instant best-seller.

When the iconic film was released in 1978, Billy Hayes became a mythical figure – a modern-day Billy The Kid. 36 years late...

[An] alarming account of a bank heist that rocked the country in 1980. . . For a first-time writer, Houlahan sure knows how to dramatize a scene. His cinematic treatment of the robbery itself reads like wildfire, the fatal shootout with the police ends in colorful chaos, and the huge manhunt through San Bernardino National Forest conducted by ‘Hunt & Kill Teams’ is a nail-biter.” ―The New York Times Book Review

Norco ’80 tells the story of how five heavily armed young men―led by an apocalyptic born-again Christian―attempted a bank robbery that turned into one of the most violent c...

THE GUARDIANS is set in Las Vegas, within the Nevada Guardianship and Family Court systems involving the legal kidnapping of elderly people in a lucrative business that drains seniors’ life-savings and robs them of their freedoms.

Victims and their families are caught in a scheme that has allowed corrupt court-appointed guardians to take total control over their healthcare and financial decisions. Armed with court-orders obtained under dubious circumstances, guardians are able to forcibly remove elderly wards from their homes, isolate them from their families and systematically empty their bank accounts.

Is Trump merely a boor and a misogynist--or is he a predator?

During his 2016 presidential run, the revelation of the Access Hollywood tape and subsequent allegations of sexual misconduct lodged against Donald Trump looked like they might doom his candidacy. Trump survived, and the first two years of the real estate scion's presidency were marked not by controversy over his behavior around women but by the Mueller investigation.

So far, Trump has dodged the #MeToo bullet that has taken down so many once-powerful men. But despite the decades of...

The very strange but nevertheless true story of the dark underbelly of a 1960s hippie utopia. Laurel Canyon in the 1960s and early 1970s was a magical place where a dizzying array of musical artists congregated to create much of the music that provided the soundtrack to those turbulent times. Members of bands like the Byrds, the Doors, Buffalo Springfield, the Monkees, the Beach Boys, the Turtles, the Eagles, the Flying Burrito Brothers, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, Steppenwolf, CSN, Three Dog Night and Love, along with such singer/songwriters as Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, James Taylor...

In A Lie Too Big to Fail, longtime Kennedy researcher (of both JFK and RFK) Lisa Pease lays out, in meticulous detail, how witnesses with evidence of conspiracy were silenced by the Los Angeles Police Department; how evidence was deliberately altered and, in some instances, destroyed; and how the justice system and the media failed to present the truth of the case to the public. Pease reveals how the trial was essentially a sham, and how the prosecution did not dare to follow where the evidence led.

A Lie Too Big to Fail asserts the idea that...
