Dr Cyclops (1936) - My Uranium Brings All the Boys to the Yard - Mini-March
#439

We hold firm to our diet and keep the show nice and slim, unlike the hulking brute scientist who is built like a refrigerator and not afraid to use his muscle where his mind and eyes may fail. This is actually a pretty decent film and worth watching for free on Internet Archive. But if you don't feel like that, you can enjoy our new segment Mike Notes, where Mike sums up the movie in under 5 minutes from start to finish.

We are hosted at Captivate where you can tip us to send us movie suggestions and...

Attack of the Puppet People (1958) - Attack Not Included - Mini-March 2026
#438
03/16/2026

We are back to shrinking movies, and while we loved the Incredible Shrinking Man, Bert I Gordon, The original Notorious B.I.G, fell in love with its box office and tried to copy it's success without any of the brilliance that made it so, and shat out this movie so lame, they thought adding a musical number, under duress for both the singer and the audience, was a good touch. We hope you enjoy the Mike Notes as Mike had to suffer this movie to make them, by thinking about this movie after watching it.

We...

Thinner (1996) - Crash Diet - Mini-March 2026
#437
03/09/2026

Reduction does not only happen in height, as the star of this weeks movie can attest. We are joined by John's brother and return guest Phil, but we still don't break an hour, so we can relate to the ever wasting Billy Hallock. If you've seen the inciting incident in this movie, then you appreciate of the title, and if you have not, we will explain the entire movie in under 4 minutes in the Mike Notes, our new summation segment.

Nope (2022) - I Am the Eye In the Sky - Black History Month 2026
#435
02/24/2026

We end Black History Month with Nope, the Jordan Peele classic that had numerous layers and was just dripping with competence and excellence from start to finish. This film has a lot to say and we are here to share what we heard from it. We will also be changing the format of the show a little for the next marathon month and are counting on hearing from you about your thoughts, so please reach out to use using any the links below and let us know what you think of the changes!

Petey Wheatstraw (1977) - This IS Your Grandaddy’s Spawn - Black History Month

02/16/2026

We continue the blaxploitation with a comedy from the Dolemite creator Rudy Ray Moore. A martial artist comedian with a degree in rhymeology get resurrected by Satan with a deal to marry his daughter. But there's one problem. She's ugly.

#433
02/09/2026

We are happy to welcome back Maki from our first Black History Month Marathon (starting with Son of Ingagi 1940) to the show as we talk about the movie everyone is talking about, Sinners. A freaking masterpiece from start to finish, this is loaded with history and we talk about all of it. This is a loaded episode but we have a blast and hope you will too!

J.D's Revenge (1974) - It Came From The Killing Floor! - Black History Month 2026
#432
02/02/2026

Black History Month is back and we celebrate it with Keith Hayes aka Sinista1 to talk about a movie dear to his heart, J.D's Revenge! What happens when a dead gangster find himself in the body of a law student? Well he engages in an hour of filler before actually embarking on his eponymous revenge, and displays some utterly reprehensible behaviour. But we do have some more history about a hairstyle that seemed odd in the movie but was just downright tragic in reality.

The Oblong Box (1964) - The Prowling 2: Your Brother is a Zombie - JanuarLee 2026
#431
01/26/2026

Christopher Lee and Vincent Price. Can we finally see some interaction between these 2 that isn't weird and confusing? Yes we can if one is dead by the time the other walks in. Seriously i need to see their riders to find out if people made garbage with them all the time by coincidence or if it was required. This movie is based on a title of a story by Edgar Allan Poe, and that's it. This was a rough JanuarLee but we will bring a pretty good theme month for February!

We are hosted at Captivate where...

Scream and Scream Again (1970) - Bladerunner 1970 - JanuarLee 2026
#430
01/19/2026

vampire robots and pseudo nazis are doing things and we watch the cops stumble their way around this conspiracy and somehow it's boring, despite having Vincent Price, Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing in it. Like did they have contracts saying any movie has to suck if they have more than 2 of these people together?

Castle of The Living Dead (1964) - House of Wax: Origins - JanuarLee 2026
#429
01/12/2026

What happens when you take House of Wax and go back 100 years? You get this movie. A travelling troupe of performers are asked to perform for Count Drago, a very heavily makeup riddled Christopher Lee, who is not nearly as makeup covered as Donald Sutherland who pulls Eddie Murphy duty and plays 3 roles. But this movie made such an impact on him, it's where he got the name for his son Kiefer. Glad he had fun. We did not.

We are hosted at Captivate where you can tip us to send us movie suggestions and theme months...

Funny Man (1994) - We Got Chris-Fished - JanuarLee 2026
#428
01/05/2026

We kick of a new year with a new JanuarLee, once again celebrating the works of one of the masters of the macabre, Sir Christopher Lee. This marathon kicks off with Funny Man, a sleeper hit that had Lee for all of 16 minutes and the worst actors possible for the rest.

12/22/2025

It's the end of the year, and we take stock of what we have done. And while we aim to end on a high note, we cannot ignore the worst. After all each episode has us discussing the good and the bad in equal fairness. Hosts (2020) - What the Frak Is This? - Christmassacre 2025
#427
12/16/2025

Say what you want about Slay Belles but at least it had a discernible plot. This is an arthouse film with a silent SH. It's about aliens...or demons, or creatures...and they're here now and maybe they can be killed or they just leave before the host dies? who knows? It's the last film review of the year but not the last episode. There's still 2 more of those. If you've joined the Facebook page then you had your chance to make your voice heard and that will be heard as we award the WORST and the BEST films...

Slay Belles (2018) - Passion of the Claus - Christmassacre 2025
#426

What do you get when you dress up Barry Bostwick as Kris Kristopherson and try to convince us he's Santa? Well you don't do that cause that's stupid. But these people did it anyway.

The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020) - Dead At 21...Again - Fall of the Queens
#424
11/24/2025

We finish the Fall of the Queens on a high note, as we review The Babysitter: Killer Queen. don't be deceived by the low ratings elsewhere, this movie is LOVED here. We had a great time watching and a great time lavishing it with praise. We also have a treat for you as this episode contains the sample of our Patreon exclusive episode, The Graveyard Channel! You can hear the whole thing, and the whole series so far, by supporting the show financially. In fact, if our support kicks up to a certain tier, we will have TWO monthly...

The Haunting Of The Queen Mary (2023) - No Escape From Confusion - Fall of The Queens
#423
11/17/2025

We continue the Fall of the Queens as we take a fall cruise to tour a real life ship that has a history of haunting. The movie we watched could have benefited from being more than one movie, rather than jamming too many interesting plots into a Brundlefly storyline. But we have a lot of fun talking about it, so join us!

There is so much wrong with this we cant even address it all in a decent time. what did YOU find wrong with this movie? Let us know!

Queen of the Damned (2002) - Children of the Korn - Fall of the Queens
#422
11/10/2025

The Fall of the Queens continues as we cover the Queen of the Damned. The film that Anne Rice didn't want made, then loved everything about it while it was being made, and then didn't want seen or discussed in her presence after it was released. At least you can say this movie has not aged poorly, because it couldn't be more hated and mocked now than it was on release! but a regular episode just isn't enough. We go into overtime tearing this movie apart. After praising its good parts of course.

also Mike has is...

Fear Street Prom Queen (2024) - You Are The Slashing Queen - Fall of the Queens
#421
11/03/2025

This month of November we celebrate the fall season. And royalty. So we are celebrating horror movies with Queen in the title, in the Fall of the Queens. Since it's a new month we decided to cover Fear Street again. What? Did we not cover the trilogy already? Whats this other movie about? Glad you asked. It's a brand new Fear Street movie! not quite connected to the original trilogy, but also kinda, this is based on another novel of R.L Stine but not written or directed by Leigh Janiak. And it shows. If you've seen 80s prom...

Fear Street 1994 - A Tale of Two Townships - Halloween 2025
#418
10/14/2025

We broke tradition with our original theme, and got a movie that does have a dressed up killer but not a trick or treat to be seen. We dig in our heels to see some good movies, after last weeks debacle, so here we go, with a GOOD movie. We take on the Fear Street Trilogy and start in 1994 where the anachronisms flow like water, but we still have a blast. Enjoy our celebration of a fine film! Teenagers deal with love, loss, and also there is a witchs curse!

Late Fee (2006) - Blandhouse - Halloween 2025
#417
10/07/2025

We decided to do movies that occur at Halloween, but then after covering this horrible movie, we needed to just recover with a good trilogy afterwards.

oh, and it's about a couple that rent some movies from a shitty store, and the movies are shit and the acting is shit, and the ending is shit. enjoy our pain.

09/29/2025

We end our Back to School marathon with Urban Legend, where the curriculum is Modern Folklore and the homework is murder. This is another 90's slasher filled with sexy people mocking modern tropes while the writers treat physics like suggestion and the internet like magic.

#415
09/22/2025

Class is starting to wear on us as we eagerly await graduation day. what makes the waiting even harder is "The House of Sorority Row" a tepid movie that clearly needed a second draft. This rips off Diabolique and Halloween and Friday the 13th and lacks all their charm and gore.

09/01/2025

Ah September. When parents celebrate the return of school so they can get free babysitting and hopefully make their little spawn a little smarter at the same time. At least the ones that survive the ordeal. Which brings us once again, Back To School. From the Fearleaders to the Class Corpse, it's all a popularity contest and we will be seeing who makes it to graduation over the next month. This weeks entry is All Cheerleaders Die, a movie that has more trouble defining itself than a schizophrenic octopus.

Leviathan (1989) - Deep Blue Seanomorphs - Fishing Season 2025
#411
08/25/2025

We end this month of Fishing Season by sending our crew to the Hadal Zone for some spooky movies and we might have finally hit pay dirt with Leviathan. This has a promising cast and premise so good it was already well received when it was The Thing.

#410
08/18/2025

We have not given up our fishing expedition for the month to find the scariest things in the water, as we approach the aphotic zone we are met by a Deep Rising, where it decided to see what lurks in places touched by light and we get exposed to horrible CGI and unlikeable characters. But we emerged with plenty to discuss.

08/04/2025

we cast our line to go fishing for great horrors this summer. Instead we snag our line on this rotted boot wrapped in sargassum. Even Dorf had better luck fishing than this. But it's a movie and we saw it, so you're gonna hear it. Hopefully our luck improves next week.

We hit the wall of the Summer of Swim and are on the return lap! After last weeks disasterpiece theatre, we have an actual movie this time that accomplishes some of its goals. Not all, not by a long-shot, but still is quite serviceable with plenty to laugh and joke about.

Plus as a BONUS we have a treat in the opening! Not a skit but a sample of this months patreon exclusive series, The Graveyard Channel. This season we cover Season 1 of the Twilight Zone and this months sample is us talking about the time travel...

07/14/2025

We do another lap around the pool for The Summer of Swim, but someone peed in the pool, then left a deuce in it for good measure. We review Pool Party Massacre, but this is the worst pool party ever and that's before the bodies start to pile up.
