The Phoenix Suns are two days away from their season opener, but they’ve remained busy in multiple ways in the lead-up. Since the preseason finale, they’ve made seven roster moves to prepare for the season.

Over the weekend, a back-and-forth between Houston Rockets All-Star Kevin Durant and Suns owner Mat Ishbia caught the basketball world’s attention, resulting in Dillon Brooks stepping in. More than just the call outs themselves, Brooks standing up for Ishbia is a representation of the attitude Phoenix is taking into the 2026-27 season. They don’t plan to back down from any...

The preseason is winding down for the Phoenix Suns, who are coming off of a 123-103 loss to the San Antonio Spurs Wednesday, but bigger questions loom around the status of Luke Kennard.

Kennard exited the game after sustaining a left knee injury near the midway point of the second quarter of Wednesday’s loss. It has been designated as a ‘sore left knee’ and head coach Jordan Ott said Kennard is ‘in good spirits,’ but questions loom around his availability moving forward.

PHNX Suns’ Gil, Stephen and Aryton get into those questions and concerns Thursday, ta...

The Phoenix Suns were without six of its best players when they took Wednesday when they faces the San Antonio Spurs in the penultimate game of the preseason.

Without their starting lineup and Collin Gillespie, the Suns went against the majority of the Spurs’ main rotation, which is led by Victor Wembanyama. While shorthanded, Phoenix was led by Ryan Dunn, who made an impact on both ends of the floor with his activity and scoring.

The Phoenix Suns earned their first win of the preseason over the weekend, using a big first half to power their way to a 102-98 decision over the San Antonio Spurs. With Devin Booker and Miles Bridges sidelined, it was Luke Kennard and Khaman Maluach who were inserted into the starting lineup and both made the most of the call.

Between Maluach’s double-double and Kennard’s game-high 20 points, Suns fans were given plenty to be excited about. Jalen Green also had an efficient night in which he put his playmaking skills on display, yet another encouraging sign...

Two games in, the Phoenix Suns have put plenty on display during the 2026 preseason. As expected, there has been both good and bad, with the starters and second unit having highs and lows in each game.

Among the notable takeways through two games is poor shooting from Devin Booker, who is shooting 1-of-12 from 3-point range up to this point in the preseason. After Wednesday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls, Booker said it was ‘back to the lab,’ indicating there is still plenty of work to be done ahead of the regular season.

The Phoenix Suns were back in action Wednesday, continuing their preseason schedule with a trip to the Windy City to face the Chicago Bulls.

Dillon Brooks led the way and set the tone, finishing with 24 points on 7-of-9 shooting, including 11 points in the third quarter. He was one of four Suns players in double figures, as Jalen Green and Collin Gillespie each added 12 points, while Devin Booker added 11 points despite icy shooting.

The Phoenix Suns hit the ground running as the preseason got underway, and their starting lineup turned heads with how they looked together. While it only saw one half of action, Phoenix’s first unit complemented one another well, building a 19-point lead before the break.

Perhaps the most encouraging takeaway from the preseason opener was the play of Miles Bridges, who appeared to be a seamless fit with his eight point, five rebounds and four assists in 15 minutes of action. Bridges scored the Suns’ first seven points and the rest of the starting lineup followed suit, with...

The Phoenix Suns learned valuable lessons in a preseason opener that had both highs and lows, with the final low being a game-winner that delivered a 109-107 win for the Detroit Pistons. Phoenix’s first unit showed flashes in the first half, building a lead as big as 19 points while outplaying the majority of the Pistons main players.

It was missed free throws and turnovers that plagued the Suns, who were outscored, 59-39, in the second half of Monday’s game. Ultimately, preseason results are unconsequential, but Phoenix falls to 0-1 in its first of five tune ups...
