Recap: The Golden Knights were playing for sweep with a victory over the Colorado Avalanche in Game 4. Vegas’ captain Mark Stone struck first with his fifth goal of the postseason.

Recap: The Golden Knights were playing for a commanding 3-0 series lead of the Western Conference Finals with a victory in Game 3. The desperate Avalanche struck first early in the opening period. Minutes later Colorado took a 2-0 advantage. Vegas believed they had cut the deficit in half but Pavel Dorofeyev’s goal was waived off. Seconds later the Avalanche added a shorthanded score to make it 3-0.

Recap: The Golden Knights were searching for a 2-0 series lead of the Western Conference Finals with a victory in Game 2. Colorado struck first with under five minutes left in the opening frame. After 20 minutes, the Avalanche held a 1-0 edge.

Colorado committed two penalties on way play setting Vegas up with a four-minute power play, but the visitors committed their own infraction and failed to score. The middle frame was full of penalties from each team. However, neither could find the back of the net, and the score remained the same after two periods.

The NHL has announced that the Golden Knights will forfeit a 2nd Round pick in the 2026 Draft as a result of “flagrant violations of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs Media Regulations.”

John Tortorella has also been fined $100,000.

Recap: The Golden Knights were trying to advance to the Western Conference finals by eliminating the Ducks in Anaheim. Mitch Marner scored immediately into Game 6 with a nifty move to give Vegas a quick 1-0 advantage. Later in the period, Vegas committed a minor infraction, but Brett Howden scored a shorthanded goal, his NHL record-tying third of the playoffs, making it an early 2-0 victory. Shea Theodore completed the trifecta with a power play goal. Vegas held a 3-0 lead after one period of action.

Brayden McNabb was whistled for a questionable major penalty, leading the Ducks to a five-minute power play. Vegas killed off most of the penalty but the Ducks were able to get on the scoresheet first. Minutes later the Golden Knights evened the game with a Pavel Dorofeyev power play goal. After 20 minutes the game was locked in a 1-1 tie.
