Per multiple reports the Golden Knights have acquired Mitch Marner from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Marner signed an 8-year $12 million AAV contract with the Leafs that will be transferred to Vegas.

Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to stay alive and avoid elimination with a Game 5 victory at home. Both teams traded chances in the opening period, but neither could find the back of the net. Vegas ended the period with only five shots on net.
Vegas killed off their second penalty early in the middle frame, frustrating Edmonton’s high-powered power play. However, both teams played to another scoreless stalemate after 40 minutes of Game 5.

Recap: The Golden Knights were seeking to even up the series with a Game 4 victory in Edmonton. With under two minutes into the game the Oilers took an immediate lead. The opening period was messy with multiple penalties for each team. Once things settled down the Oilers scored again taking a 2-0 advantage.
Both teams traded chances in the middle frame but only Edmonton was able to find the back of the net. After 40 minutes the Oilers held on to a 3-0 edge.

Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to pick up their first series win against the Oilers with a victory in Game 3. Edmonton quickly took a two-goal lead, but Vegas chipped away and evened the score 2-2 before the intermission. First Nic Roy cut the Oilers lead in half and then Reilly Smith tied the game :54 seconds apart.

Recap:The Golden Knights were looking to even the second round series against the Edmonton Oilers with a Game 2 victory. Vegas was awarded two power play opportunities in the opening eight minutes of the contest. Victor Olofsson opened the scoring with his first goal of the playoffs.
