I'm back! Yes, it's been a while and there is no more perfect film to return back to my routine than Paris, Texas from 1984.

This is my first ever watch and it would be an understatement to say that it's been a long time since cinema has moved me the way this did. I always have seen stills and thought it was from a fashion shoot or a photo spread and to see these images in motion. It had me thinking of my own relationship...

We're starting off October right with not really a spooky one but a classic sub genere of horror, creature features. Charles picked this one and he gives his rundown on reasons for his choice and I come into this not knowing anything but leaving with a strong appreciation for Kevin Bacon in cowboy attire.

This has to be one of the most visually stunning films I have seen in the past six months. I saw it in the cinema for New Years Day and it basically set the tone for my relationship with film in 2024.

Me and Mikey are here to talk about how we loved this film and how we haven't seen anything like it. Emma Stone is just a standout and we talk about the evolution of her character and how the incredible costume design by Holly...

During this episode I discovered a new genre: 'domestic friendship bi- thriller'. This is literally one of my favorite genres. In a film starring Rob Lowe giving Lifetime movie villain and (my baby) James Spader acting for his life it's bound to have some heat. Me and Charles talk about how they tried to make corporate language seductive, the amazing interiors of 80s apartments, and more talk of homoerotic thrillers.

What a WILD ride. This was Charles' pick for the 'Back Track' series this month. It had been a while since we explored the classics and this certainly is nothing short of a perfect film. There are so many moments that will remain in my head forever and I've never seen acting like this in my life.

This being my first Liz Taylor and Richard Burton film, I was beyond transfixed. With just a four person cast, there are so many ebbs and flows and...

I've been into magazines for what seems like most of my life. I started archiving and sharing my own collection back in 2022 but I want to expand and take it even further. So this episode is just a bit of my history collecting magazines, zine, and photo books.

Ahh, the 90s. Such a perfect time for the erotic thriller genre. It only felt right to pay homage to one of the greats, James Spader. I stumbled across this one from deep in the vault and I'm glad to experience Dream Lover from 1993.
