The Hardin County Animal Shelter is also holding their 9th Annual Howliday Special, now through December 20th. They are offering $25 adult dog adoptions when you bring in a new Children’s toy or gift card valued at around $25 to benefit the foster children served by Benchmark Family Services.

Warm Blessings Community Kitchen’s double oven went out. They are trying to raise $10,000 to cover the cost of a new one and installation. They are on track to feed 20,000 meals to the community this month.

Knox Regional Development Alliance Vice President Beth Avey talked about the Fort Knox Workforce Resource & Financial Assistance Fair that was originally scheduled, but cancelled since the government shutdown ended. Avey also explained what the organization does.
