After giving you full highlights of the men's basketball team winning the conference tournament earlier on the podcast page, we give you some of their Saturday semifinal top moments along with an important note on our radio coverage for the tourney. Then Darek lays on thrilling highlights from lacrosse winning 11-10 at Temple before telling you how softball, baseball and beach volleyball finished up weekend sweeps.

Coming to you from Birmingham where WBB is set to being a run for a repeat conference tourney title, but also following goings on back home with press conference clips of Brian Hartline after the first spring practice, and Bryan Hodgson and Izaiyah Nelson. Plus, women's tennis goes down to the very wire to pick up an outstanding victory.

Darek had a chance to chat with a trio of the women's basketball team's All-conference performers a day before they take the court for the conference tournament.

After his team turned in a third straight indoor conference champion and 5th overall including outdoor, the vastly successful Head Coach of the Bulls chatted with Darek and local TV as did double champ Jaleel Croal, and talented jumper from Canada, Alesandro Williams-Cardoso.

Full highlights of a memorable end to the regular season for men's basketball, which won its 9th straight and got to raise a banner (surprise!) afterwards. The women made it 4 in a row with a late rally at Tulane, and Darek runs down the full conference tourney set-up for both teams.

As the Bulls clinched the outright regular season American Conference title late Thursday in Memphis, here are all the key moments as called by Jim Lighthall and Joey Johnston on Bulls Unlimited! Included is their postgame interviews with Coach Hodgson and Wes Enis, who led the Bulls with 29 points including some key baskets in the final minutes.

It was a stunning - and possibly historic - defensive showing by the women's basketball team on Senior Night as they wrap up the 3 seed for the conference tournament. An update on the men's team's outlook ahead of Memphis Thursday, and highlights of baseball topping Stetson 12-4 to get to 10-3 on the season and decisively end the Hatters' 5-game win streak in the series.

Another loaded Monday show with the bulk of first half hour devoted to full highlights and reaction after men's basketball earned its second conference championship in three seasons - then Darek has his best explanation as to why the Bulls have not yet locked up the No. 1 seed. Before that, great news as Volleyball Head Coach Jolene Shepardson receives a contract extension.

The Bulls continue their win streak and hope to turn it into a regular-season conference championship this Sunday when they host Tulane. Jim Lighthall as always is joined by the Head Coach, with this week's player guest true freshman Adriel Nyorha and Strength & Conditioning Coach Cory Dukquits.

As called on Bulls Unlimited - and with no Bulls Beat until Saturday morning, we didn't want to make you wait around to be able to relive the top calls of Wednesday's win in Houston, the Bulls' 6th in a row as they stay 1 1/2 games atop the American, with a chance to clinch the No. 1 seed Sunday vs. Tulane!

Lots to cover as always, starting with an update on the football staff before previewing the men's basketball game Wednesday at Rice - and how the Bulls can clinch the regular-season title THIS week. Baseball drops to 7-2 with 4-3 loss at Bethune plus a conference check-in with both baseball and softball. Beach Volleyball pairing earns first conference top honors (in C-USA, Darek explains). Women's hoops faces likely must-win for 3rd seed after what took place in Denton Tuesday. And women's golf finishes 52-over par - which was really good considering! Indoor track and field set for conference meet...

The Bulls began their first spring in New Orleans and left town wtih a 3-1 record that included a defeat of the event host, No. 20 Tulane along with a narrow defeat to 12th-ranked LSU.

Another hour-plus Monday show as once again the Bulls just gave us, so much to give you! Records fall on both diamonds, with baseball plating a school-mark 29 runs Saturday, then winning 4-3 with a ninth-inning rally for a series sweep and 7-1 start. Softball's Alex Wilkes leads the Bulls to a 10-game winning streak of their own, homering in a school-record four straight games. Beach volleyball finishes off an incredible first weekend, lacrosse has its best win of the year, tennis swings hard vs. No. 28 Clemson, and finally a full highlight reel of a satisfying 20-point win for women's...

More days, more wins for our USF programs but Friday was a bit different - a program first! Beach volleyball started off fantastically in New Orleans. Then Darek details softball's winning streak hitting 8, baseball's hitting 5 and as always, cover all the hoops action with the men taking care of business before a great YC crowd vs. Memphis Thursday and women looking to find revenge vs. FAU Saturday. (Note: the show ends with a full 10-minute highlight reel of that one, starts at the 20:20 mark).

The last of our live shows was another great one - Head Coach Bryan Hodgson and Jim Lighthall recap a big victory at FAU (under sweltering conditions!) before looking ahead to Memphis Thursday night. Guests this week are Isaiah Jones (16-minute mark), Director of Player Personnel Martin Stockwell (31:30) and then Coach returns for a Q&A session from fans in the audience (42:30). In this hour-plus version of the program, the first half hour is devoted to an incredible win for men's basketball at FAU overcoming a determined opponent, and humidity, to prevail in OT taking a two-game lead in the conference. Sunday was extremely dramatic back home with baseball rallying from down 7-2 to win the game and series vs. Illinois, softball - after a 4-run bottom of the 7th to win vs. BC Saturday - walking it off again vs. DePaul. There was a great showing for men's golf in Gainesville, two tennis victories, two track & field program records set...

NOTE - This show will be further updated Saturday late afternoon with a full highlight reel from Wednesday's basketball wins (women vs. Tulsa, men at Wichita) as well as previewing both hoops' road tests this weekend. Until then enjoy highlights from baseball's season opener and softball, which went 2-1 on Thursday and Friday. Darek also tells you what track, golf, tennis and lacrosse are up to this weekend.

After a pair of big-time wins against then first-place Tulsa - the Bulls now reside by themselves in the American's top spot - and a dogfight at Wichita Wednesday the Head Coach joined host Jim Lighthall. Also on the show this week, big man (and 4.0 GPA carrying) Daimion Collins, and unsung hero Video Coordinator Max Wittenberg.

Darek recaps a Tuesday softball doubleheader where the Bulls had it all going on, previews a key Wednesday night in hoops, plus tennis and weekly track and field accolades.

A full weekend = almost a full hour of Bulls Beat! The first 45 minutes are devoted to big-time wins for both basketball squads, the men taking first place for themselves completing a season sweep of Tulsa, and the women fulfilling their most complete show of the conference slate thus far. Conference standings/NET rankings updated. Then, the rest of a busy weekend leading with lacrosse putting up 20 goals, softball turning things around with a dramatic Saturday, women's tennis coming SO close to win Number 1, and track and field posting great results in Chicago.

Softball is in the midst of a very busy opening weekend, Saturday alone will be packed on campus - and oh yeah Sunday is merely a battle for first place with men's basketball hosting Tulsa.

As heard live from the Yuengling Draft Haus and Kitchen - don't miss the next chance to be there Feb. 18 by the way! - Coach Hodgson discussed the Bulls' recent stretch, capped by a season high 109 points vs. UTSA, and previews a big one this Sunday vs. first-place Tulsa. Josh Omojafo joins for the second segment, followed by assistant coach Logan Ingram and a final chat between host Jim Lighthall and Coach Hodgson, including answering questions from the live audience!

A full 45 minutes, the first 20 or so from a wild one at the Yuengling Center Wednesday that saw the Bulls overcome a hot start from UTSA, paced by an incredible second half especially from a freshman. Earlier, the women led by 13 but could not hold on at ECU - Darek was there for the call and highlights the critical moments. Then some comments made by Head Football Coach Brian Hartline, and finally - softball begins and we already have our first schedule change due to weather!

Track and Field in two places, we give you a recap - and oh yeah, some comments on THAT hockey game at Raymond James with a special USF tie during the second intermission. Darek also gives you a full scoreboard/conference standings check for both basketball squads, along with an update on the men's tennis trip to California where they're taking on two (more) ranked teams. Show ends with the ending of a close defeat, along with some staggering numbers on just how narrow the margins have been in conference play.

Once again, PLENTY for Darek to catch you up on in USF athletics! A special Saturday show starts with the completion of the football schedule, before getting into Darek's recap of an impressive lacrosse exhibition showing Friday against Tampa. Track & Field sends athletes to both Louisville and Gainesville, while men's tennis faces a formidable foe in Santa Barbara. We finish with basketball, not only a conference standings update, a preview of the men's game at Temple along with a show-ending full highlight reel from the win Wednesday at Tulane.

The freshman who threatened for the individual title, and the 2nd-year Head Coach on the construction of a roster that looks like it has a big spring in store after finishing 6th in a strong field of 16 teams last weekend. With softball starting NEXT Thursday the Bulls' longtime Head Coach Ken Eriksen let the gathered media - our Darek Sharp was on the lead mic - know how his team is looking. He's followed by three very productive veterans: outfielder Alexa Galligani (11:20 mark), spectacular defensive 2B Kathy Garcia-Soto (15:30) and pitcher Belle Sardja (20:10).

A day before their exhibition versus the University of Tampa, Darek stopped by practice to chat with key returners on Defense and in the Midfield, along with a transfer goalkeeper from the University of Cincinnati.

After two really tough-to-take losses women's basketball appeared headed for a third - that changed, thankfully, and we have all the highlights. Before that, Darek updates the 41 new football team members out of the portal and wraps up a great spring start for women's golf. He also gives you some brief thoughts on both baseball and softball's Media Day along with a preview of Wednesday night's men's hoops matchup at Tulane.

A couple weeks before first pitch, second-year Head Baseball Coach Mitch Hannahs gathered with the media to discuss the outlook for his squad, and we also heard from veteran hitters Rafael Betancourt and Lance Trippel.

Pretty full show for you on a Monday! Full highlights of the men's basketball squad's slimy win vs. FAU, along with Coach Hodgson's thoughts. The women started slow before nearly pulling off an amazing win in Boca. We'll check the conference standings and NET rankings for both squads. Also, men's tennis splits a pair in the heralded ITA kickoff event while the women's time compiled dozens of victories in the Tampa Cup. Finally, women's golf gets its spring off to a strong start.

Full highlights of an awesome win by the men's team Thursday starts the show. Big man Daimion Collins had his USF high in minutes played, points (14) while blocking 5 shots and Joseph Pinion carried the 3-point load with five makes as the Bulls avenged a 2-OT loss to the Blazers. Next, a matchup with rival, and first-place, Florida Atlantic. Speaking of FAU, Darek will be in Boca this weekend for the women's matchup with the Owls - they came up short against another set of Owls in Philly Tuesday despite some milestones being hit by a pair of post players.<...

On this week's show the Head Coach recaps a wild overtime loss vs. Wichita and what the Bulls have worked on since, heading into big back-to-back games at UAB Thursday, and home against first-place FAU Sunday afternoon. In Segment 2 (20-minute mark) get to know sharpshooter Wes Enis, who has TWO games with a USF record 10 made 3-pointers this season. Finally, one of several assistant coaches who came to Tampa from Arkansas State with Hodgson, Derek Rongstad (starts at 32:30 mark).

A weekend recap includes, as usual, full highlights from the basketball action - it was a career high 10 assists for Edyn Battle and a Bulls-high 24 points for Katie Davidson as the women walloped Wichita. The men almost it a Shocker sweep but, despite coming from down 30-15 to lead by as many as 13, the Bulls lost in overtime.

And both indoor track & field, and men's and women's tennis, saw their seasons get started.
