This Thursday show, since it's the first after the introductions of Kristy Curry and Chris Mack as new leaders of the USF Basketball programs, gives Darek a chance to share some of his favorite sound clips from both along with Rob Higgins. Then it's previewing a busy Thursday with baseball, which dropped a 6-5 decision to Bethune Tuesday, looking to handle matters against Memphis and tied-for-first softball visiting UTSA. After a walk-off win that wasn't Friday, softball answers with two very critical wins. Lacrosse rolled 21-3 at ODU Saturday before losing an incredibly dramatic one at Richmond Monday that saw the Bulls lead 8-3... then trail 14-10 in the fourth, only to come back and tie. Baseball dropped 2 of 3 but Darek explains why it's not the worse news - and how the Bulls had plenty of company in the top 25. Friday's show gets you set for another busy weekend but begins with the new men's basketball Head Coach being named, and some good audio from spring football practice featuring Bryson Rodgers, former Wiregrass Ranch receiver who comes with Coach Hartline from Ohio State.

Darek caught up with Bulls senior Regina Plascencia, who in her fourth year (the first three at Georgia Southern) claimed her first individual championship in college - as the Bulls won their first team title in Coach Newell's tenure in Tampa. A truly special performance, and record setting for a 54-hole score as the Bulls went 26 under par.

Beck enters his 37th year coaching football, the past three as an HC at Coastal Carolina but before that as an OC at big programs like Texas, NC State and notably alongside Brian Hartline at Ohio State.

After their practice in Clearwater Beach Wednesday, Darek chatted with defender Morgan Anderson (on right in photo) and blocker Sasha Pasloski about the tremendous season so far as USF is 12-4, and the anticipation of playing a first-ever home match. Note that there will be a beach volleyball stadium ready on campus for the 2027 season but for this inaugural year the Bulls will play twice in Clearwater. This weekend's action begins Friday at 9:45 a.m. against Sam Houston State, with two matches both Friday and Saturday as the Bulls look to extend an 8-match win streak.

A full Wednesday program begins with some big news, as Rob Higgins announces that Kristy Curry - who led Alabama to six NCAA appearances after the Tide had gone more than 20 years without making the tourney, and before that had terrific success at Texas Tech and Purdue (national runner-up) - is the new Head Coach of Women's Basketball. After that, a program-record 54-hold score lands Women's Golf its first victory of the season! A lot of great going on at Corbett Stadium, and wherever lacrosse plays these days.

Darek caught up Tuesday with a trio of defenders and midfielders, the positions that were instrumental in securing a massive 9-7 victory vs. conference favorite JMU Saturday. Zimmerman and Bustamante both hail from Long Island, with Zimmerman in her third year as a Bull after starting off at Colorado while Bustamante is in his first season at USF. Natoli, an every-game starter on D, was originally recruited by Head Coach Mindy McCord to Jacksonville but never played there, choosing to follow McCord after she was named the Bulls' leader.

Spybey, a former Junior College All-American from Alabama, shot 2-over par rounds to start off at the Linger Longer Invitational in Georgia before going off with a 9-under 63 Sunday, His score along with Wilhelm Ryding's -5 shot the Bulls from 9th to a T4 finish as the Bulls round into shape - and head closer to top-40 in the country - despite losing two-time conference player of the year Jake Peacock and several other veterans.

Senay threw 8 2/3 innings Saturday in a 2-0 shutout of Rice, and is 4-0 with an incredible 0.68 ERA. The freshman from Orlando's East River High School sat down with Darek after practice Monday afternoon. The Bulls are 20-4, nationally ranked and heading to FGCU for their next action Tuesday evening.

After telling you about Bryan Hodgson's heading to Providence, Darek gets into all the events of another packed weekend starting with two outstanding performances - by lacrosse to beat perennial NCAA tourney team JMU, and a school record tying 9-under par score turned in by Jackson Spybey as men's golf surged in Georgia. Baseball wins 2 of 3 vs. Rice while softball just fell short of a series victory at Tulsa. Track and Field hosted an event and turned in several victories.

After his team turned in a third straight indoor conference champion and 5th overall including outdoor, the vastly successful Head Coach of the Bulls chatted with Darek and local TV as did double champ Jaleel Croal, and talented jumper from Canada, Alesandro Williams-Cardoso.

As the Bulls clinched the outright regular season American Conference title late Thursday in Memphis, here are all the key moments as called by Jim Lighthall and Joey Johnston on Bulls Unlimited! It was a stunning - and possibly historic - defensive showing by the women's basketball team on Senior Night as they wrap up the 3 seed for the conference tournament. The Bulls began their first spring in New Orleans and left town wtih a 3-1 record that included a defeat of the event host, No. 20 Tulane along with a narrow defeat to 12th-ranked LSU.

Another hour-plus Monday show as once again the Bulls just gave us, so much to give you! Records fall on both diamonds, with baseball plating a school-mark 29 runs Saturday, then winning 4-3 with a ninth-inning rally for a series sweep and 7-1 start. Softball's Alex Wilkes leads the Bulls to a 10-game winning streak of their own, homering in a school-record four straight games. Beach volleyball finishes off an incredible first weekend, lacrosse has its best win of the year, tennis swings hard vs. No. 28 Clemson, and finally a full highlight reel of a satisfying 20-point win for women's...

More days, more wins for our USF programs but Friday was a bit different - a program first! Beach volleyball started off fantastically in New Orleans. Then Darek details softball's winning streak hitting 8, baseball's hitting 5 and as always, cover all the hoops action with the men taking care of business before a great YC crowd vs. Memphis Thursday and women looking to find revenge vs. FAU Saturday. The last of our live shows was another great one - Head Coach Bryan Hodgson and Jim Lighthall recap a big victory at FAU (under sweltering conditions!) before looking ahead to Memphis Thursday night. Guests this week are Isaiah Jones (16-minute mark), Director of Player Personnel Martin Stockwell (31:30) and then Coach returns for a Q&A session from fans in the audience (42:30). In this hour-plus version of the program, the first half hour is devoted to an incredible win for men's basketball at FAU overcoming a determined opponent, and humidity, to prevail in OT taking a two-game lead in the conference. Sunday was extremely dramatic back home with baseball rallying from down 7-2 to win the game and series vs. Illinois, softball - after a 4-run bottom of the 7th to win vs. BC Saturday - walking it off again vs. DePaul. There was a great showing for men's golf in Gainesville, two tennis victories, two track & field program records set...

After a pair of big-time wins against then first-place Tulsa - the Bulls now reside by themselves in the American's top spot - and a dogfight at Wichita Wednesday the Head Coach joined host Jim Lighthall. The first 45 minutes are devoted to big-time wins for both basketball squads, the men taking first place for themselves completing a season sweep of Tulsa, and the women fulfilling their most complete show of the conference slate thus far. Softball is in the midst of a very busy opening weekend, Saturday alone will be packed on campus - and oh yeah Sunday is merely a battle for first place with men's basketball hosting Tulsa.
