In this fable The Sun and the North Wind compete to  see who can have a traveller from his coat. The harder the North Wind blows, the more the traveller clings to his coat. The sun takes a slower, gentler approach but soon the force  of his heat makes the traveller take off his coat and seek shade.

In the story Why the Sky is Far Away"  which iis a Nigerian folktale , it is explaining that the sky once hung close to the earth. It provided  edible, delicious pieces for people who never had to farm. Due to human greed and wastefulness, the sky grew angry and moved far away, requiring people to work for their food
