In this edition of the Diner. Beauregard Parish Sheriff Mark Herford and DeRidder Police Chief Craig Richard join the program to talk about Operation Blue Santa. The event benefits the local toy drive through a dinner, auction, and raffle! The Event is set for Friday November 14th at the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds in DeRidder.

Remembering The Deadliest Battles In Military History, Filmmaker Michael Pack Talks Latest Project The Last 600 Meters | The Diner

In 2004, America fought the two deadliest battles of the Iraq War: Najaf, in the south, against the Shiite Mahdi militia, and Fallujah in the West against Sunni Insurgents.

The true story of these battles is documented in the upcoming PBS Documentary, The Last 600 Meters: The Battles of Najaf and Fallujah.
