US Citizen and Iraqi War Vet - George Retes Detained by ICE

George Retes was on his way to work when he happened upon an immigration raid in progress. He was stopped by immigration officials. George immediately told them he was a US Citizen. It didn't seem to matter. He was pepper sprayed, his car window was smashed and he was pulled out of his vehicle, zip-tied and eventually held in detention without charges for three days.

Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem has stated that no US Citizens are being detained, in this podcast, George Retes will say otherwise.

Journalist Nick Schwellenbach discusses his recent findings on Border Patrol agent, Gregory Bovino who is responsible for spearheading the recent raids in Los Angeles, Chicago and now North Carolina. Bovino has been hauled into court and admonished by a federal judge for excessive use of force. Schwellenbach finds that Bovino has a history of excessive use of force, actually four times higher than other border patrol sectors.
