Taking a page from the Kent Boucher School of Podcasting we decided to spend some time talking through holiday hunts and what the real meaning of this season is all about. Noel recaps his gun season (he missed a big one!!!). Lance talks through Ava's experience killing an Iowa slob as well as his new favorite venison recipe. The guys share what some of their favorite show moments were from the last year and in the end the boys share from scripture what Jesus came and did for humanity. All in all: a solid episode in our opinion.

In the Bible there is a verse that says, "A man with many friends may be harmed, but there is a friend who stays closer than a brother." (Proverbs 18:24) Shane Wagner is that friend that is a brother! Hailing from OH-IO but transplanted to Oklahoma Shane takes some time to walk with us through his upbringing in the outdoors, what it was like rabbit hunting with family, and how he's passing on the legacy to his kids. A great conversation was had with a greater guy!

November 2025 was one for the books when Lance hit the road to Eastern Colorado to chase giant Mule Deer. While there, his guide and now friend was Jason Dirscherl of Comanche Wilderness Outfitters. Lance took some time to sit down with Jason and hash out what it was like being a professional hunting guide for the past 35 years. They also dove into Jason's hunting heritage and talked through what gave him the spark to be outside chasing critters.
