3.22.26 - Pastor Dave Cho - Lent 6: God's Priority
#81

In this message, guest speaker Pastor Dave Cho from Mosaic Covenant Church in New Jersey unpacks one of Jesus’ most thought-provoking parables, challenging our natural views of fairness and revealing the heart of a God who is relentlessly pursuing people. What begins as a story about work and wages quickly turns into something deeper—exposing our desire for recognition, status, and distinction. As Pastor Dave walks through the tension in the text, he invites us to wrestle with what truly matters in God’s Kingdom and to consider a question that goes beyond “What’s fair?”—one that has the power to resha...

#77
03/01/2026

Pastor Marion Mason continues the Lent series “Follow” by taking us into the opening lines of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1–6) to answer a question many of us feel in busy, confusing seasons: What does it actually look like to live as a citizen of God’s Kingdom? Framed through the hope-filled “upside-down” beauty of the Beatitudes, this message highlights four inner characteristics that shape Kingdom people—dependence on God, a heart that grieves what grieves Him, humble strength, and a deep hunger for righteousness. Along the way, Pastor Marion connects faith to real life with vivid stories, cultural reflections, and...

2.15.26 - Pastor Jenni Wong Clayville - Lent 1: The Pillars of Lent
#76
02/15/2026

Pastor Jenni Wong Clayville invites us into the heart of Lent—not as a religious performance, but as a quiet, intentional re-centering on Jesus amid a world competing for our attention. Drawing from her own story of faith formation and the ancient roots of the church calendar, she helps us understand why Lent has endured as a meaningful rhythm for believers across generations. In this message, we explore the three pillars of Lent—prayer, fasting, and almsgiving—and how Jesus teaches them in Matthew 6 as practices meant to be lived in sincerity, not showmanship. You’ll also hear why Ash Wednesda...

2.8.26 - Pastor Marion Mason - Ruth 4: The Power of Redemption
#75
02/08/2026

Pastor Marion Mason closes the Margins series in Ruth 4 by showing how God’s redemption often unfolds in ordinary moments—especially in chaotic times like the era of the Judges, when people did what was right in their own eyes. He highlights how the story moves from uncertainty toward restoration as Boaz handles the situation with integrity and clarity, stepping into the role of kinsman-redeemer in a way that brings security to Ruth and hope to Naomi. The message traces how God turns loss into legacy, lifts those on the margins, and weaves faithful obedience into His larger redemptive plan—ultima...

#71
01/04/2026

Ever feel like you started the year with big goals, then got a little off track—and immediately felt the pressure to quit? 12.21.25 Pastor Jenni Wong Clayville - Love is...
#69
12/21/2025

What does love really mean—especially in a world marked by waiting, uncertainty, and unmet expectations? This Advent sermon explores a deeper, richer vision of love rooted in Scripture and the Christmas story itself. Set against the backdrop of silence, darkness, and longing, it invites listeners to reconsider love not as a feeling, but as a way of living—one shaped by trust, obedience, and hope when the outcome isn’t clear. Through the lens of Advent, this message uncovers how God’s love enters the world quietly yet powerfully, and how that same love still calls us to respond today. C...

12.07.25 Pastor Jenni Wong Clayville - Peace That Makes Room
#67
12/07/2025

The sermon explores the true meaning of Advent peace by contrasting the fragile, unjust “peace” offered by earthly powers with the restorative, inclusive peace God brings through Jesus. Using the Christmas story in Luke 2, it highlights how Jesus entered a world full of political tension, fear, and scarcity—and yet his arrival invited a new kind of peace that makes room for others, especially the marginalized. Rather than quiet or comfort, biblical peace is a courageous, compassionate posture that refuses fear and creates space for restoration in ourselves, our relationships, and our communities.

In John 13:34 Jesus gives the disciples a “new command”, to “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” He gives this command in the midst of being betrayed by Judas and Peter. Jesus’ charge to love is largely impart to communicate to the world that those that love like him are his true disciples. Secondarily, Jesus knew that his disciples would need the unity and encouragement that accompanies loving like him. Following Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection the disciples would face persecution, dispersion, self doubt, and discouragement. Today we all have moments and maybe similar expe...
