The shapeshifter shedding his skin is yucky, and so is his heart. Younger sibling annoyances! Wait, why don't the Winchester boys wear holsters?? The minutia in this episode that build into seasons' worth of backstory!!! Despite the face, the vibe is ick...

Okay, so maybe this episode of Supernatural didn't give us the spooks as much as it gave us the icks. That still works as we creep closer to the heart of Spooky Season, right?
