Welcome to another devotional on The Blessings of the Lord Podcast. Today we’re reflecting on Philippians 4:6–7 — a promise of God’s peace.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.’ — Philippians 4:6–7

This doesn’t mean everything that happens to us is good, but it does mean that God can bring good out of every situation. No matter what trial we face, His hand is at work, weaving it into His greater purpose.

Father, thank You for working all things for good in my life. Help me trust You, even when I don’t understand what You are doing. Amen
