Good morning, friends! It’s time for another Strong and Courageous devotional. Today’s story is about two men named Paul and Silas.

Paul and Silas loved telling people about Jesus, but not everyone was happy about it. In one city, they were beaten, arrested, and thrown into prison. Now, if you or I were in jail for doing the right thing, we’d probably feel sad, scared, or even angry. But Paul and Silas did something surprising—they started singing hymns and praising God!

When I feel Afraid

Today I want to talk about David, we know so much about David being strong, he defeated Goliath, He was a King and a musician, so we often think about David as someone who is strong and courageous but he wrote in Psalms 56:3 "When I'm afraid I put my trust in You", he's admitting he was afraid but he also tell us what to do. Today I want to encourage you, whenever you are afraid put your trust in God.

We all go through seasons when we pray for something but you feel like God is not listening, like you are praying but nothing happens. I want to encourage you today in 1 John 5:14 says that we can be confident that He will listen to us when we ask for anything that's align to His will, maybe you don't see the results but that doesn't mean He's not listening, He's just preparing something better for you, because He does hear you and He sees you.
