📖 Exodus 17:8–13

In Exodus 17, the Israelites were in a battle against the Amalekites. Moses went up on a hill to watch the fight, and God gave him a strange instruction — as long as Moses kept his hands lifted, Israel would win.

So he raised his hands — but after a while, they got heavy. His arms started to shake. Every time he lowered them, the enemy began to win again.

That’s when two men — Aaron and Hur — stepped in. They brought a rock for Moses to sit on and stood on either side of him, holding up...

📖 Matthew 10:30 — “And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”

You are so special to God.

Sometimes we think God only cares about the big things — like major life decisions, miracles, or moments at church. But the Bible says He even knows how many hairs are on your head. That means He pays attention to every tiny detail of your life — even the parts no one else sees.

He knows when you’re nervous about something you didn’t tell anyone.

📖 Proverbs 26:11 — “As a dog returns to its vomit, so also a fool repeats his foolishness.”

Okay… this one’s kind of gross.

The Bible says, “As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his foolishness.”

Yep, it’s nasty. But that’s exactly why you’ll remember it — because God wanted it to stick.

Here’s what it means: when we keep going back to the same mistakes, same bad habits, or same unwise choices, it’s like going back to something disgusting that we should’ve walked away from.

📖 Philippians 4:4 — “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”

Joy doesn’t always come naturally. Sometimes it’s something we have to choose.

When Paul wrote this verse — “Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again, rejoice!” — he wasn’t sitting on a beach or celebrating a big victory. He was actually in prison. He had been beaten, chained, and abandoned by people he trusted. Yet in the middle of all that, Paul chose to tell himself, “Rejoice.”

God Finishes What He Starts

📖 Philippians 1:6 — “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

Sometimes we look at our lives and feel like we’re still under construction — still struggling, still learning, still trying to get it right. It can be discouraging when you don’t feel like you’ve arrived yet.

But Philippians 1:6 reminds us of something powerful: God finishes what He starts.
