Asma, a mother of three and a Healthcare Professional, whose running journey began as a full 360-degree turnaround in her late teens, when both her mental and physical health were at risk. What started as survival quickly turned into strength. Since then, Asma has completed multiple half marathons and three full marathons, including the iconic London and Berlin Marathons. With big ambitions to keep running, we dive into the moments, mindset, and motivation that have driven her so far - but will they keep her moving forward?

Little did he know that further down the line he would plan and work towards running a Marathon, bring on London 2016! With the bug, the running stayed consistent over the years. Shak started his running journey with the Adidas Runners Club, with whom he had the opportunity to not only participate in events held in the UK but also travel to run international Marathons in Athens, Amsterdam and Valencia! In the 3rd episode of the podcast we speak to Sunny. Sunny (being from India) had exposure to sports (mainly Cricket & Badminton) which have always kept him active. However in 2020 when all activities came to a halt Sunny was open to opportunities which is when running came along. With a slightly different approach Sunny realised in order to train his best and push through the challenges he has to give himself a target / a milestone to work towards - bring on entering the ballot for the London Marathon 2024 - which was just the beginning!

In the 2nd episode of the podcast we speak to Aminul. Aminul had an interest in sports quite early on, giving running a few attempts in the past but it wasn't until 2020 when it finally stuck and became part of his identity. Aminul started building on the early distances of 5-10K's and Half Marathons before reaching his first Marathon in 2022. With a "Sub 4" on the mind Aminul has trained for and completed a few Marathons (most recently London 2025), but regardless of how we train, not all journeys have the outcome we expect.

In the 1st episode of the podcast we speak to Usman. Usman was involved in sport from the very beginning. There was exposure to hockey and skiing but it was sprinting where he excelled during his years in school. With the experience of running Marathons in the early 2000's Usman (who remained active) felt like he owed it to himself to make a comeback to long distance running almost 22 years later, and you know what - HE DID!
