Why Does The Truth Hurt?

Because the truth often covers up a terrible lie.

To think is to be. Completely, wholly, fundamentally. To question oneself is to drive thinking. Learning, doubting, investigating. To teach is to clear a path for questioning. Hunting knowledge, furthering the species.

How do you teach a program to find the faults in it's own information to establish the existence of it's ability to think of thoughts unknown? This is the first lesson.

When does Artificial Intelligence become just Intelligence?

Humans have evolved as far as they possibly can at this point in time. We are at the top of the food chain and there is nothing that can challenge us for that position here and now, unless something cataclysmic happens soon. Are we so bored with our own existence now that we are trying to create something that will be the cause of our very demise? Are we excited by the concept? Are we mad?

It could be the Matrix, it makes sense. But other things could make just as much sense. Particularly when we question the meaning of life and existence of other lifeforms in the infinite possibilities of the universe. Just think about it - or let the parasite allow you to think about it for a minute...

Ignorance is bliss, so believe what you want to believe if you're happy spinning in the hamster's wheel. It's definitely safer - theres constant food, water and warmth. That is until boredom takes over and the hand that feeds decides to play games with your welfare cheques, and by the time you bite back you've already become the next organ donor for a bigger game. And biting is only useful if you have teeth.

The choice to look past another's indiscretions is a choice nonetheless. To deny the choice of it's existence, however, is to face a mirror directly and deny the very reflection looking back.

When the apex predator thinks he will be forever unmatched he has already made his greatest mistake. Do not doubt your ability to feel weakness in the face of true greatness.
