Work Life balance for Maths Educators

Today's episode can be summarised by a universal truth I learnt from others; let go to let in. And that's why it was difficult to talk about. It wasn't difficult to talk about the idea; it was difficult because it's a sensitive topic. So power through the examples, stay open-minded, and when you get to the end, you'll get the hopefully quite powerful wrap-up. Because, for a good work-life balance, you need to work with the people who are the right fit for you, as well as you are the right fit for them.

To give or not to give homework? While this is completely up to you and how you run your business, I'll share with you how homework can be implemented in your services (especially if that's what your clients want, while it may not be your default setup) without taking loads of time and affecting your work-life balance.

Discussion about your prices and increasing your prices doesn't have to be painful, awkward nor a dreaded business chore. I'll explain more inside, speaking from my experience (as usual) how I deal with these things and how I get clients excited about spending money that many would be worried to charge for their services. And yes, that includes the fact that I'm totally focused on making sure the clients are happy to work with me.
