HAUNTED DIARY

I was an employee, but I was friends with the guys who founded the company, and I even shared an apartment with them. I didn't own a car at the time, but it usually wasn't an issue for me, because I could carpool with one of my roommates to and from work.

Illinois, on a dead end street over 10 miles away from the nearest town. There were seven other houses in the area, separated by at least two and a half acres of trees and bushes. A strange fact about this particular location is that there aren't many bears or other large mammals in this region.

A couple of summers ago, my girlfriend and I were camping in the Shawamagan National Forest in northern Wisconsin. After our experience there, we do not plan on returning unless we go with a large group of people. We are originally from Chicago, so northern Wisconsin is our go-to place for a getaway.

When we pulled in, my brother noticed a yard sale next door. This house was  run down, apparently some police activity went on there before I was born, but that was over with now. Right? A man walks up to us and introduces himself.
We'll call him Ray. Now Ray was renting  from the woman who owned the place. Basically, this woman had a house with four bedrooms, one for her, one for her disabled son, and the other two rooms were rented out.

This story takes place back in my home country of Puerto Rico, in the city of Mayaguez in 2015, on Halloween night. I had just turned 18 at the time, and was starting college. For privacy reasons, I'll be changing the names of those who were involved in this story.
