An innocent man spent nearly 10 days in jail after being framed for murder in an elaborate scheme involving fake social media accounts and staged video messages, Indiana authorities said.

Fort Worth police are seeking the public’s help in solving the shooting death of a 21-year-old man who was shot in his car on Thursday night.

At approximately 8:50 p.m. on March 27, officers responded to a shooting call in the 6000 block of Portico Drive, where they found Maddox Moses Garza, a Fort Worth resident, suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso inside his vehicle. DES MOINES, Iowa – A significant breakthrough has been made in a cold case from 1989, with an arrest connected to the disappearance of Barbara Lenz.

Lenz, who vanished on May 6, 1989, was last seen by her boyfriend, Robert Davis, at her apartment in Woodbine, Iowa. Davis, then 26 years old, told authorities he had dropped her off earlier in the day. Lenz had plans to visit her former boyfriend and their 3-year-old child in Omaha, Nebraska, but she never arrived. Yesterday would have been Karen Silkwood's 79th birthday.  Her murder is still unsolved.
