In 2006, developer GearBox announced a novel squad based game set in the Aliens universe with writing from Battlestar Gallactica screen writers. This seemed like every Sci Fi Nerd's fantasy. What could possibly go wrong here? By 2013, a large class action lawsuit was filed and GearBox and SEGA found out that a LOT could go wrong.

Join host HeyBrother45 as he takes a deep dive into a game that starts with a very interesting concept and ends with a game so bad the developers got sued for it.

Beat-em up games should be fairly simple to make. Make some cool characters, make it multiplayer and have it be mindless fun for about an hour and a half. It should be hard to fail at that right?

Join HeyBrother45 as he takes a look at two beat-em up games that didn't just fail, they failed so spectacularly that they might be the worst games EVER MADE.

These games sold so little they would have made more money if they took all the trees and put e...

There are many games that we loved in our childhood. Many of them inspired our love of video gaming itself. What happens though when you go back and play them today? Do they bring back the feelings that we used to have, or do we realize that time has passed both us and our favorite games by?

Join Heybrother45 as he takes a deeper look at a game many people hold close to their hearts, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire.

Sometimes it can be a good thing to think outside of the box. Sometimes though, the box is there for a reason. Legendary fighting game series Mortal Kombat was highly influential and wildly popular, and the developers decided to branch out into new genres. Did it work? Join HeyBrother45 as he looks at these non-fighting game entries in the Mortal Kombat universe that are far from flawless.

It takes a lot of strength to get through these games. You will have to Test Your Might.

I would never get on a cruise, the island and bays are for sportsmen.

Games That Are Literally Just Ads

Would you pay upwards of $100 to watch an ad? No, of course you wouldn't. But developers in the  time before microtransactions and DLC had to get a little creative when trying to milk more money out of customers. Instead of putting ads into games, they made entire games that were ads!

Join HeyBrother45 as he takes a deeper look at games plugging everything from junk food to Bill Clinton on this week's episode.

If I have learned anything from these ads, it is th...

We all know that games based on movies tend to be pretty bad. Games based on bad movies are usually worse. But what about games based on bad movies that are based on awesome games? Does that cancel out? Wait...what?

Join HeyBrother45 as he takes a deep look at a Russian Doll of a video game that seriously did not need to exist in Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game.

I try to forget this game, but I can't get it out...

Sometimes you come across a game and wonder just what the hell the developers were thinking, or what drugs they may have been on. Join Heybrother45 as he takes a deeper look at 5 games that would make anybody rethink their sanity or their trust in humanity while playing.

I try to avoid these crappy games, but I always find them...every time I look around.

Many people consider poor performing or over hyped games from big name developers to be scams, but at least most of them are functioning games. That can't be said about this week's game which collected preorders from consumers while knowing full well there was no game to actually preorder.

Join HeyBrother45 as he takes a deeper look at what may be the biggest and most public failure of a game in recent memory, The Day Before.

I wonder what the developer was thinking while making this game, maybe "I'll go...

The Nintendo Game Boy had been the king of the handheld market since its release in 1989. But in 1997, a new challenger approached. Tiger, a company probably responsible for a good chunk of the microplastics lodged in our brain wanted to make a cheaper alternative...while connecting to the internet...in 1997. Did they succeed? Join Heybrother45 as he takes a look at an ambitious port of Resident Evil 2 to a console with some pretty lofty goals.

I don't know anyone who owned this console. I'm sure someone did, but y...

They say sex sells. Failing company Acclaim certainly hoped so when they took their most popular series, Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX and removed everything that made it good and added strippers. Instead of making people want to buy it, this pissed a lot of people off, including their big star Dave Mirra, who sued Acclaim for millions. Join HeyBrother45 as he takes a deep look at BMX XXX, a game that should serve as a lesson for future companies facing bankruptcy on how NOT to save your business.

Chaos theory: A butterfly flaps its wings in Tibet and a hurricane forms in the Atlantic. Might seem unlikely, but James Clark Maxwell mathematically proved in 1845 that seemingly unrelated variables are more connected than we think. Did the fall of the Sega CD in 1993 cause the release of shovelware title Ninjabread Man on the Wii in 2006, more than a decade later? Grab your tinfoil hat and join HeyBrother45 as he unravels what might be the biggest undiscovered conspiracy in gaming. Is it true, or merely a coincidence? The truth is out there...

In 1991, the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was released to high critical and audience acclaim. Many still regard it as possibly the best game ever made. The next Zelda game did not get so much praise. In fact the next Zelda game would be hated and disowned by fans of the franchise. Nintendo even refuses to acknowledge it. No, not Ocarina of Time, I'm talking about "Zelda: Wand of Gamelon" and the other 2 games released on Philips CDi that make up the abomination known to fans as "The Unholy Triforce".<...

In the early 90s, the US congress held a special session to discuss a game that was so violent, they likened it to child abuse. They were afraid that the violence was too much to be put on a console aimed at children. No not Mortal Kombat, I'm talking about Night Trap.  HeyBrother45 takes a deep dive into a game that  garnered so much unwarranted attention it led to the creation of the ESRB board as we know it today.

The game is about watching unsuspecting children in order to save th...
