Last Friday at 1:14 PM

Pleasantville (1998) follows two modern-day teenagers, David and his sister Jennifer, who are magically transported into a 1950s black-and-white TV show called Pleasantville. As they interact with the town’s picture-perfect, rule-bound residents, their presence slowly disrupts the status quo. Color begins to spread through the once monochrome world, symbolizing change, self-expression, and awakening. As people begin to question societal norms, the story becomes a powerful metaphor for transformation and freedom.
