Local music fans will definitely know the name Matthew Dear. Texas born, Michigan-raised, Dear co-founded the record label Ghostly International and continues to produce and perform all over the world. Dear has performed on bills with Interpol, Hot Chip. and Depeche Mode and, guess what, he's coming to the Downtown Library this Friday, March 20 at 6 PM to give visitors an inside look at his creative process, culminating in a live performance!

Merrily We Roll Along

Sondheim's semi-autobiographical musical turns back the clock on friendship and the high price of success. Merrily We Roll Along begins in the present and moves backwards, tracing the lives of wealthy, jaded composer, Franklin Shepard, and his two estranged friends through each milestone of their personal and professional lives (good and bad).
