Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out

👑 THE WOMEN ARE READY. IS AEW?

Queen Aminata is the NEW AEW TBS Champion after defeating Persephone in a spectacular Dynamite main event! It's a moment worth celebrating, but it also raises a frustrating question: Why isn't AEW doing more with one of the most talented women's divisions in professional wrestling?

This week on Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out, Blade Daily and Kendra Omega celebrate Queen Aminata's championship victory while examining the state of women's wrestling in AEW.

A year ago, the first women's Blood & Guts match and the ann...

AEW has an embarrassment of riches. An extraordinary roster, compelling rivalries, and more stories than it can possibly fit into two hours of Dynamite. So why are the women still struggling to get meaningful television time?

This week on Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out, Blade Daily flies solo for a special pre-recorded episode, breaking from the usual format to talk about everything happening in AEW following WrestleDream.

Jay White makes a statement alongside the Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs, the Don Callis Family establishes itself as a dominant force, and Steven...

AEW WrestleDream 2026 was built with duct tape, questionable judgment, and what we can only assume was a rapidly approaching deadline.

AND THEN THE DAMN SHOW RULED.

AGAIN.

HOW DO THEY KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS?!

Professor Degree, Blade Daily, and Kendra Omega have assembled for another SHUT UP FOREVER, the unholy union of Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out and Pro Wrestling Forever, to discuss AEW's latest exercise in making absolutely no sense until the bell rings.

The build was underwhelming. The expectations were modest. The...

AEW WrestleDream 2026 is almost here, and Blade Daily and Kendra Omega are making their predictions for Saturday's stacked pay-per-view! Who's leaving Orlando with championship gold, who's headed for heartbreak, and which of our predictions will age like a carton of milk left in the Florida sunshine?

In this episode of Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out, Blade and Kendra break down the announced WrestleDream card, including Will Ospreay defending the AEW World Championship in the chaotic Clockwork Carnage match, Mercedes Moné putting her Women's World Championship on the line against Thekla, and The Young Bucks defending t...

Kenny Omega. Jon Moxley. Kazuchika Okada. Three of the greatest wrestlers of their generation, and Will Ospreay has beaten ALL THREE in less than two months.

So...who the hell is supposed to beat him now?

This week on Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out, Blade Daily and Kendra Omega examine Will Ospreay's remarkable rise to the top of AEW and whether Tony Khan is building the company's next truly dominant, long-term World Champion.

Ospreay looks every bit the new ace of All Elite Wrestling, but with a roster this...

Why does professional wrestling affect us differently than almost any other form of entertainment?

In the wake of the devastating loss of Benjamin “PAC” Satterley, Blade Daily and Books and Bodyslams step back from the usual wrestling discourse to talk about something bigger: why we become so deeply attached to professional wrestlers.

We know they’re performers. We understand kayfabe. We can separate the character from the person behind it—and yet we spend 52 weeks a year cheering them, booing them, watching them grow older and sometimes growing older right alongside them.

So...

AEW All Out 2026 is here, and Blade Daily and Kendra Omega are doing the dangerous thing: making predictions that can be proven wrong almost immediately.

On this episode of Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out, we preview the full AEW All Out card and make our picks for one of AEW’s biggest shows of the year.

Can Will Ospreay retain the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley? Who survives the three-way ladder match between Cage & Cope, FTR and The Young Bucks? Can Thekla earn her shot at Mercedes Moné by getting past Wil...

Who made the biggest leap in pro wrestling in 2026?

Blade Daily and Books and Bodyslams—still inexplicably answering to Kendra Omega—look at the wrestlers whose stock has skyrocketed this year across AEW, NJPW and ROH.

From Will Ospreay reaching the top of AEW and Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight emerging as major players, to Willow Nightingale, Thekla, Andrade El Ídolo, Maya World and Persephone climbing the ranks, 2026 has produced an incredible collection of breakout stars and newly established main-eventers.

And then there's Ryohei Oiwa, who went from having to quali...

Sometimes wrestling is about matches, championships and arguing over booking. And sometimes, it’s about the people this ridiculous thing brings into our lives.

Blade Daily is joined by special guest host Zerpie, renowned wrestling figure photographer and co-host of The BubbaCast, to discuss the extraordinarily emotional AEW Dynamite: Rebel Heart.

We celebrate the return of Britt Baker and Rebel together—the Waiting Room, “Reba,” the Roll Model and an unforgettable ride up the ramp—and discuss why their friendship made the night simultaneously hilarious, heartbreaking and joyful.

We also remember Andy “The...

Something feels different in AEW.

Coming out of a spectacular All In London, the company is riding a wave of excitement and goodwill that we haven't seen in a long time. So the question is: Has AEW officially got its swagger back?

Blade Daily is joined by Books and Bodyslams — who is currently insisting on being called Kendra Omega and we're apparently just going with it — to discuss the incredible response to All In and a Dynamite that wasted absolutely no time moving toward All Out.

Will Ospreay is finally AEW...

Was AEW All In 2026 the greatest show in company history?

SHUT UP FOREVER returns as Blade Daily, Professor Degree, and Books and Bodyslams combine the powers of Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out and Pro Wrestling Forever to review an absolutely ridiculous night at Wembley Stadium.

At the center of it all: Will Ospreay defeated Kenny Omega to become AEW World Champion, completing his journey to the top and seemingly cementing himself as the new ace of All Elite Wrestling. Was this simply an incredible main event, or AEW's definitive passing of the...

AEW All In 2026 is headed to Wembley Stadium, and Blade Daily and Books and Bodyslams are making their predictions for one of the biggest wrestling shows of the year.

At the center of everything is Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship. Is Wembley finally the place where Ospreay reaches the top of AEW—or is this increasingly dark version of Kenny Omega about to ruin the homecoming?

Blade and Books break down the All In card, including Willow Nightingale vs. Mercedes Moné, Jon Moxley vs. Nigel McGuinness, Kyle Fletcher vs...

New Japan Pro-Wrestling may have finally found its next generation.

Blade Daily and Antione Raphael break down the 2026 NJPW G1 Climax, where Ryohei Oiwa defeated Yuya Uemura in an incredible final and emerged as a massive crowd favorite — giving New Japan another homegrown main-event star alongside Yota Tsuji.

After years of waiting for NJPW's youth movement to actually arrive, has the company finally committed to its future? We dig into the rise of Oiwa and Uemura, the changing main-event picture and a noticeably more fundamental wrestling style built around selling, struggle, holds and ma...

Swerve Strickland is back in AEW — and suddenly we have questions. Lots of questions.

Blade Daily and Books and Bodyslams break down Swerve’s surprise return on AEW Dynamite and his immediate confrontation with new AEW World Trios Champions Hangman Adam Page, Bandido and Brody King.

Then Ricochet asked the question that sent our fantasy-booking brains directly into dangerous territory: if Swerve wants to come after the Trios Titles…who are his two partners?

With Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed (Xavier Woods) free of their WWE obligations, could AEW be teasin...

How the hell did Andrade El Idolo become one of the most charismatic babyfaces in AEW?

Blade Daily and Books and Bodyslams are back to break down AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, the incredible atmosphere inside Arena México, and the unlikely rise of Andrade from frustrating first-run AEW signing to a wrestler who suddenly feels like one of the biggest stars in the company.

And we have to ask: are we starting to see a little Eddie Guerrero-like magic in Andrade? Not because he's trying to be Eddie, but because of that rare combination o...

After weeks of waiting, AEW finally feels like it's sprinting toward All In.

Blade Daily is joined once again by the delightfully unpredictable Books and Bodyslams, who may or may not have enjoyed a few beverages before (and during) the show—with increasingly hilarious consequences. Somewhere along the way, she also delivered an impassioned—and very unfiltered—rant aimed squarely at one William Ospreay for daring to stand across the ring from Kenny Omega.

Between the laughs, the chaos, and the occasional interruption from Books' inner Kenny Omega defense attorney, the crew breaks down o...

AEW Redemption may have been the show that finally made the road to AEW All In feel real.

Blade Daily, Pippin, and Shane G (Ethos Media) break down every match from Redemption and ask one big question: Did AEW finally deliver the storytelling fans have been waiting for?

From Kenny Omega's shocking attack on Will Ospreay after seemingly being rescued from the Death Riders to Willow Nightingale capturing the AEW Women's World Championship, Maya World's breakout moment, and the latest twists involving Jon Moxley, Kyle Fletcher, and the Don Callis Family, there's a...

AEW Redemption is here, and Blade Daily is joined by returning guest Kurt Jangle to preview every match, make bold predictions, and ask the question many fans are already debating:

Has AEW's expanded PPV schedule made it harder to build meaningful stories?

The card is packed with incredible talent—including Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, Jon Moxley, Thekla, Hikaru Shida, Willow Nightingale, Kevin Knight, Christian Cage, Cope, and more—but did too many of these matches only come together in the final days before the show?

On this episode of Sit Down Shut...

The allegations are true.

Blade Daily and special guest Books and Bodyslams are shameless Kenny Omega fans, and this episode is an unapologetic celebration of Omega's AEW Men's World Championship victory over MJF. If you came looking for objective journalism... you have made a terrible mistake.

But there's plenty more to celebrate from one of AEW's strongest episodes of Dynamite in recent memory.

The crew dives into Kyle Fletcher's AEW International Championship victory, what the loss means for Konosuke Takeshita, why Andrade is connecting with audiences like never before, and...

Blade Daily and Books and Bodyslams break down the fallout from AEW Forbidden Door and the biggest talking points coming out of one of the company's most eventful weeks of the year.

The conversation begins with AEW's shocking announcement of MJF vs. Kenny Omega, featuring the controversial stipulation that Omega can never challenge for the AEW World Championship again if he loses. They also discuss Maya World's emotional Owen Hart Foundation Tournament victory, the continued rise of Shane Taylor Promotions, and the polarizing opening...

Has social media changed the way wrestling fans experience stories?

This week on Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out, Blade Daily and Books and Bodyslams examine the intense reaction to Kevin Knight joining the Don Callis Family and ask a larger question: Are wrestling fans judging the end of stories before they've seen the beginning? The duo explores how modern wrestling discourse is shaped by instant reactions, fantasy booking, and assumptions about where a storyline is headed before it has a chance to develop.

The conversation also turns to the return of Mercedes...

AEW Double or Nothing has come and gone, and the fallout may be even more interesting than the event itself. Blade Daily, Books and Bodyslams, and Innitbab break down Konosuke Takeshita's long-awaited victory over Kazuchika Okada, Kevin Knight's shocking heel turn, and the increasingly complex relationship between Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, and Jon Moxley as the road to All In begins to take shape.

The crew also tackles one of the most heated discussions in the AEW fanbase: the state of the Women's Division. Following a three-hour episode of Dynamite that featured minimal women's content outside...

With massive character shifts, shocking betrayals, and major summer implications, the crew digs into one of AEW's biggest events of the year.

On a special Thursday edition of Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out, Blade and Books preview AEW Double or Nothing from Queens, New York — a card packed with huge questions, massive stakes, and one legendary debut.

Can Darby Allin actually defeat MJF, or is the Devil truly untouchable? Is this finally Konosuke Takeshita’s breakthrough moment against Kazuchika Okada? And after Willow Nightingale was forced to vacate the TBS Championship due to injury, what does the future of AEW’s women’s division look like now?

Plus, Mick Foley is officially ALL ELITE. Blade an...

Why are pro wrestling fans so polarized? Why do some fans defend promotions at all costs while others seem determined to tear them down? And when did wrestling discourse become more about ratings, attendance, TV deals, and business metrics than the actual shows themselves?

On this episode of Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out, Blade Daily is joined by Books and Bodyslams and Jeff from Skewered Universe Podcast for a deep dive into the politics of pro wrestling fandom. The crew explores tribalism in the IWC, the psychology behind fan loyalty, outrage culture, doom posting, anti-fandom...

Will Ospreay’s connection to The Death Riders has created ripple effects across multiple factions and promotions, with Callum Newman and United Empire immediately capitalizing on the chaos. The fellas discuss how interconnected storytelling between AEW, New Japan, The Dogs, and United Empire creates a scale of unpredictability wrestling rarely achieves — and why this may only be the beginning.

Plus: AEW Dynamite fall...

Blade Daily goes solo to break down AEW’s unique approach to pro wrestling storytelling, from layered character arcs to non-linear narratives that avoid the predictable “good guy wins” formula. This episode dives into how AEW builds long-term stories that reward fans without feeling rushed, chaotic, or hot-shotted—blending modern wrestling with lessons pulled from wrestling history, classic storytelling, and evolving fan expectations.

Plus: Will Ospreay training with Jon Moxley (and the spread of the infamous “tummy poke”), Swerve Strickland targeting Bandido, Darby Allin’s alread...

Blade Daily goes solo to break down a packed week across AEW Dynamite, Ring of Honor, and the road to AEW Revolution. The big headline: Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, and David Finlay — “The Dogs” — signing with AEW, adding even more depth to an already stacked roster. That leads directly into the debate sparked by Dave Meltzer: Is AEW’s roster simply too deep for the amount of television time available? Blade digs into the argument, what it means for talent opportunities, and whether the criticism actually holds up.

Also on the show: the new Ring of Honor stud...
