Our guest today is a proper Kiwi legend — a bloke whose name is basically stitched into the fabric of New Zealand food and hospitality. Al Brown isn’t your typical TV chef — he’s more of a storyteller with a fishing rod in one hand and a spatula in the other. He co-founded Logan Brown, one of NZ’s best restaurants, hosted a bunch of TV shows and created Depot Eatery and Federal Deli — two absolute Auckland institutions. He’s cooked for world leaders, fished every corner of Aotearoa, and probably poured more beers for strangers than most bartenders.
