Our guest, Jesse Herford, associate editor of Signs of the Times magazine and pastor, reflects with us on the wilderness experiences of our lives, how God has used those (or what good He ca...

Should women be ordained to ministry?

We will look at biblical hermeneutics, headship theology, and tackle the interpretation of Bible verses often used for/against ordaining women. It's an episode NOT to be missed!
Is ordination biblical?
The issue of women's ordination has become a wedge issue in the Adventist Church, polarising communities and dividing "conservative' and "liberal" Adventists. Parties on either side will argue "YES!" or "NO!", but is there a third route we can take to understanding the issue?
For the next two weeks, we will be joined by Dr Darius Jankiewicz, the South Pacific Division Field/Ministerial secretary, who has done decades of research in this area. This week, we will discuss the concept of ordination generally. Then next week, we will delve deeper into the topic of women's ordination specifically.Â
