Questions continue to pop up on Punk Hazard, but the straw hats have already regrouped and are now filling eachother in on the situation. Thank you to all of our listeners to giving us a couple weeks to relax on a vacation together and re-collect ourselves. It was a great feeling to be back recording and a solid set of episodes to come back to. The New Fishman Pirates have been defeated and the Straw Hats FINALLY get their banquet. it has been 2 years since the crew has celebrated together, but Jinbe interrupts the celebration to drop some news on them after being absent the last 2 years. Luffy decides to enter the New World with a bang and picks a fight with one...

The fighting between the fishmen pirates and the straw hats come to a decisive end. A controversial revelation is made in regards to Hody's background. While Luffy wouldve been successful in stopping the Noah, a group of unexpected visitors had to arrive and ruin the captain's fun.

We are all going on vacation over the next week so there will be no episode next week, and the following week is up in the air. Updates will be posted on socials and in our discord (linktree).

We continue with the recent history of fishman island and witness the tragic tales of 2 legends in Fisher Tiger and Queen Otohime. Coming back out, we are reminded why we love this crew so much. Now that everyone except for a single minor character is aware of what's going on, it's time to take care of business. Jinbe got dust in his eye.

After a little bit of a distraction in town with Shirahoshi, Luffy finally reunites with Jinbe! While it feels like a happy gathering at first, the tone darkens due to Nami and Jinbe's mutual connection to Arlong. To give further background to why Arlong was in the East Blue as well as on the rising tension at fishman island, Jinbe tells the group about 2 huge role models for Fishman Island. Fisher Tiger and Queen Otohime both fought to end the prejudice between fishmen and humans, but they did so in their own separate ways.

The Straw Hats get deeper and deeper into the trouble for no reason. In the meantime, Luffy and Megalo are taking Shirahoshi out for a spin around town. Hody and Vander Decken are stepping in as antagonists, but there step is proving to be a pretty small ineffective one.

The crew has arrived at fishman island but they are once again split up. Tension is brewing with the New Fishman Pirates and the straw hats dont even realize it! King Neptune formally invites the crew for a banquet at the palace. The bigger question is if the event will stay pleasant with Luffy bugging the princess and the 3 princes learning of Madam Shyarly's premonition that Luffy will bring about the destruction of Fishman Island.

After reviewing the longest arc thus far, it is time to wrap up the Sabaody Arc. The crew is back this week in its entirety. Luffy makes a shocking return to Marineford and makes a statement. What kind of statement? That is in the eye of the beholder, but Vivi seems to have it figured out pretty well. Derek gets excited about some foreshadowing and Garrett gets bit by a fish. Amanda and Whitney use some amazing detective skills to figure out exactly how Luffy is contacting the clue. Now it is just figuring out what comes next. I guess we will just have to be patient until next week.

What will the fallout be after this result? Boa takes Luffy, Jinbe and the Heart Pirates back to Amazon Lily where our favorite straw hat boy finally wakes up and must face the brutal truth. In the mean time, we get to flash back to see how Luffy and Ace truly met.

Longest title in the history of our pdcast...just had to make me do it Moria. Still a pain in my ars. We are back this week and Luffy is making massive strides in the eyes of the Marines and some of the strongest pirates in the world. Ace's execution is almost carried out twice, but he is saved by both Crocodile and Luffy himself, though the race toward the platform continues. Whitebeard still is one of the strongest men on the battlefield, but he is losing steam as the battle rages on. The marines have all the momentum...

Im pretty sure we reviewed the right episodes. Somebody check back to last weeks recordings and take a gander. Regardless, Luffy continues to run toward Ace going nowhere fast. Boa and Jinbe still coming in clutch while Marco tosses his hat into the ring of making a difference. Whitebeard takes a shot in the dark while Vista makes his presence felt as a swordsman. Admiral Akainu continues to show how ruthless he is as a leader and this battle is proving to be no holds barred.

Luffy has finally arrived to the Battle of Marineford and he makes his presence known early. Whitebeard senses something fishy and orders a majority of his forces to stick back outside the bay while his main crew pushes the marines back. Luffy runs into a few foes from the past, but thanks to recent allies, he doesnt have to worry about them at the current point in time. The race to save Ace continues. Can our straw hat get there before it is carried out?

Next Week: Episodes 469-473

Out of nowhere we hit a fantastic set up episodes full of action, lore dumping, and many new faces and powers. We dive deep into the conversation to set things straight and figure out how this could impact the world going forward. Stakes are high but our favorite straw hat boy has disappeared following a flashy entrance by Whitebeard.

In a world like any other...a college of dragon riders is the center of the civilization. At the head of the school is the man himself. Shadow Daddy.....Nope. Wrong media again. Luffy is officially on the seas bound for Marineford. In the meantime, we get another chance to check in with our favorite crew members. Perona continues to deal with bullshit while Robin gets set up with an interesting group of people. A lot of different stories continue, but the common denominator is it doesnt seem like anyone is making it back to Sabaody in a good amount of time.

Episodes 457-458 are fillier.

After a long journey to the depths of Impel Down and back out, Luffy has finally made it through, though his main goal still has yet to be accomplished. Along the way we have seen some new faces and some old faces, but these characters continue to surprise us on the impact they bring to Luffy's journey. A lot of questions are still up in the air and the only way to answer them is to keep sailing and let Luffy grow. We can only hope that this isnt the last time we get to see our lovely dancing...

Luffy is working his way back up with some unexpected allies. We've got a lot of fighting this week and some dumb lines that create some excellent entertainment. Just when Ace was so close, the Navy pulls him far away and Luffy feels the responsibility to keep fighting for his brother. In the meantime, Whitebeard is still missing from the map and Blackbeard shows up out of nowhere with some unknown intentions.

With Luffy hanging on by a thread, Bon Clay returns and drags Straw Hat to the miracle worker Ivankov!!!! Thrilled to be in the presence of this new group of prisoners, Luffy ends up finding an unexpected connection with the Queen of Kamabaka Kingdom. With tensions continuing to build, more and more connections are blossoming as well. The result is continuing to push toward an all out war and time is running out.

Next Week: Episodes 442-446

We are back with our lovely dancing boy and his favorite straw hat boy!! Unfortunately, their progress is quickly halted by the warden after finally reaching level 4. On the upside, the Pirate Empress has made a clean infiltration and message delivery to Ace and she heads out bound for Marineford to meet up with the rest of the Warlords. Wars continue to make waves as Shanks engages Kaido in the midst of the coming war between Whitebeard and The World Government!

No I didnt put a fun title cuz IDK why. Luffy has finally infiltrated Impel Down to rescue his brother Ace. Chaos is quickly unfolding as we run into some familiar faces en route to the bottom floor. Can Luffy make it in time to save Ace!?! Guess we will have to find out. Cuz we have no other option. Cuz this is a One Piece Review Podcast. #NotMyMVPiece

Luffy goes all out in these episodes both physically an emotionally. We get to see more of his character than we have in a while and it really makes for some great entertainment. Not only does he save his new friends, but he develops a close relationship with a new pirate crew that will be a strong ally for the Straw Hats going forward. Finally, he finds out the situation that his brother is in and with all odds stacked against him, he charges forward to the backyard of the world government once again!

We are back this week following along with our favorite straw hat boy. He meets a new friend but he is quickly targeted by the ruler of the island Boa Hancock. She is also the last warlord that we have been waiting on in our watch through so far. Luffy feels determined to get out of this and save his friend, but Hancock has other plans for him.

Next Week: 413-417

For a couple weeks now, the fallout has been building after Luffy knocked the teeth out of a celestial dragon. It's here. Admiral Kizaru has arrived on scene with vegapunks new science project and a spunky Captain of the science division. Rayleigh does Rayleigh things, but it goes from bad to worse when a Warlord decides to join the party as well. The crew faces their biggest challenge yet, and they are far from up to it.

Episodes 406 and 407 are filler

Chaos begins to unfold after Luffy's hit felt across Sabaody. A fight breaks out early but also finishes early thanks to the arrival of the legendary Dark King Silvers Rayleigh. We finally get to see 2 of the top members of the Worst Generation in action along side Luffy, but the victory is short lived with the arrival of one of the 7 Warlords. The straw hats are able to find some temporary sanctuary, but now they have to prepare for the arrival of Admiral Kizaru while still ignorant to the presence of the warlord as well.

Next Week...

We are finally getting the opportunity to explore Sabaody, but unfortunately things are not as fun on the clump of trees as they seem. Oda dives hard into this arc, tackling some real world issues. We also get to meet some pretty intriguing characters and it will be interesting to see how they fit into the story going forward.
