EP 44: The Devil Went Down to Texas: Part 1

The "satanic panic" captivated and unnerved the public in the United States in the 1980s and 1990s. Was it all just mass hysteria that fueled public fear and judgement of certain things and people, or was there a modicum of truth into the many accounts from this time period? In tonight's episode, we begin the first part of a two part series on the mysterious deaths that occurred in Childress, Texas in the late 1980s. Rumors spread like wildfire throughout the town as to what happened and who was behind the deaths, but we leave it to you all to decide: were these deaths simply tragedies that coincided with nationwide angst, or was somethin...
EP 43: The Beast of Abair Road

Frank loves local stories. The other guys? Not so much. TOO BAD. IT'S MY EPISODE THIS WEEK. In tonight's show, we travel a little northeast of my current coordinates to the tiny village of Whitehall, New York. You won't believe what happened there back in the 70's. No, not that stuff... I mean creepy, cryptid creatures.

In the darkest corners of our homes, out of the corner of our eyes, some have seen shapes and movements. What is initially believed to be a trick of the mind, or perhaps a symptom of being fatigued, can sometimes turn into something sinister. Attacks at night are most common for what we know as Shadow People. It is difficult to say what these creatures actually are, or what their purpose is meddling with humans. Hopefully you can make your own deductions from the firsthand experiences we will talk through tonight.

EP 38: The Bell Witch (Part 1)

Few stories have stuck with me years after hearing them. Tonight's story is the perfect example. I first heard it nearly a decade ago on a podcast that directly inspired this one, Astonishing Legends, and have been enamored and perplexed by it ever since.
