The Word of God
The following podcast focuses on learning more about the word of God. It is a collection of sermons that help one not only to learn more about God but hopefully will encourage you to become more like Jesus!
God Has Spoken
Because all Scripture is inspired by God, His Word reveals salvation through Jesus Christ, carries His divine authority, and equips us to live faithfully in obedience to Him (2 Timothy 3:14–17).
God is Worthy
God alone is worthy of our worship because He reigns over all things, is infinitely holy, eternally unchanging, and the Creator upon whom all existence depends (Revelation 4:1–11).
When God Interrupts Your Plans
Even when God closes the doors we hoped would open, we can trust His wisdom and faithfully follow His leading, knowing that His purposes may be far greater than anything we can presently see (Acts 16:6–15).
The God who Sees Me
Through Hagar’s encounter with God in the wilderness (Genesis 16:1–16), we discover that even when life takes us somewhere we never expected to be, God sees us, hears our cries, meets us in our suffering, and gives us hope through His unfailing promises.
Being Someone's Jonathan
Biblical encouragement means entering someone’s wilderness, pointing them back to God, reminding them of His promises, and standing beside them even when their circumstances do not change.
Being Faithful in an Unfaithful Place
God calls us to remain faithful wherever He has placed us, trusting His Word and obeying Him even when faithfulness is ordinary, costly, or frightening (1 Kings 18:1–16).
What are you Waiting For?
Faith does not require certainty about what lies ahead; it trusts God enough to take the next step, believing He is already at work and can use our obedience for the good of others.
When Love Grows Cold
The Throne is Still Occupied
When life becomes uncertain and the world seems chaotic, Isaiah 6 reminds us to look beyond our changing circumstances to the holy and sovereign God who still reigns, cleanses us by His grace, and sends us into the world to serve Him (Isaiah 6:1–8).
Life in the Vine
Jesus said I am the vine, you are the branches. May we stay within the vine so that we might bear much fruit and be lights unto the nations by obeying God’s word, loving Him and one another.
Loved When Love Grows Cold
When faced with a cold world that struggles to have genuine relationships we must see God loves us and share that love with the world.
Why Am I Not Changing?
God faithfully works within every believer to create both the desire and the power to obey Him, but spiritual growth flourishes only as we respond to His gracious work rather than resist it.
