This is the journey of two old friends revisiting the original Transformers show, episode by episode. Evan is a die-hard fan of the franchise from his wee years to present. Ed isn't really a fan, but likes a lot of adjacent properties, so he is watching as a fan of toys, sci-fi, and cartoons, but not Transformers. We guys (and occasionally maybe a gal) will be going through each episode and looking at it with adult eyes to see if it holds up or if it is an odd nostalgia trap. Robotech Ep 2: Politicians and Giant Men
The action keeps us pumped with the second episode of Robotech: The Macross Saga. Jason is gonna do what Jason does and Rick is playing Rampage with a big robot. Who let this kid in an experimental fighter? Oh, Roy says its cool, so we're all good. Ed, Jayhu, and Evan start tallying citywide destruction and we get reminded of why cartoon politicians are a valid piece of the lore. Gotta universally loathe someone.
