Texas wins the ITA Indoors National Championship
The Texas Longhorns won their first ITA Indoors title in program history with a 4-2 win over Ohio State. The Longhorns snuck a doubles point, and found singles victories from #1 Sebastian Grozny, #2 Kalin Ivanovski (clinch) and #6 Lucas Marionneau. #1 Valerie Glozman and #2 Duncan Chan fall in NCAA Day 1 action
The first day of the NCAA singles tournament brought some massive upsets as #1 Valerie Glozman (Stanford) and #2 Duncan Chan (TCU) both lost in three sets. Chaos continued on the women’s sides as three other top 8 seeds lost, but order was mostly maintained on the men’s side.
