Josh Duggar hires a new attorney as he tries for a fourth bid at freedom. Attorney Beau B. Brindley is arguing Duggar’s original trial was unfair. At an appeal hearing last month, Duggar appeared virtually, regarding an appeal that prosecutors argue was filed after the deadline. The court is deciding whether this appeal can proceed.  The current motion alleges prosecutorial misconduct, misleading forensic evidence, and claims that evidence was withheld.   His previous attempts to vacate the conviction, including appeals to the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court, have been denied.

Alex Murdaugh's murder conviction has been unanimously overturned by the South Carolina Supreme Court.  A new trial has been ordered for the disgraced attorney privously convicted for the murders of his wife and son.  The ruling was based on jury tampering accusations against court clerk Becky Hill, of improperly influencing jurors, depriving Murdaugh of a fair trial. The court also noted that the original trial judge erred by allowing extensive testimony on Murdaugh's financial crimes.

The number of government scientists either missing or mysteriously dead is now 16.  The FBI and White House are reviewing the series of deaths and disappearances looking for connection between the individuals with ties to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Los Alamos National Laboratory, and defense-related fields. We have been able establish the fact that  several victims vanished while hiking or walking, often leaving behind essential items like phone or ID.

Are these individual disappearances and deaths a strange coincidence or a wild conspiracy theory?

Laken Snelling, a former University of Kentucky student athlete, 22, stands accused of killing her newborn in her off-campus room.  She has pleaded not guilty to a first-degree manslaughter charge after the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office determined the infant was born alive and died of “asphyxia by undetermined means”.  She previously told police she did not believe the baby was breathing. 

Snelling has a pretrial hearing set for May 14, 2026, followed by a status hearing  June 12. If convicted of first-degree manslaughter, she faces 10 to 20 years in prison.

D4vd back in court today for a status hearing in his murder case, as a judge decides if there's enough evidence to move toward trial. D4vd's preliminary hearing originally set for May 26, now moved to June 29.

It's been four years since father of three, Eric Richins, died from a fentanyl overdose. Only twelve days after Rebecca Haro reports her son's kidnapping and claims she was knocked out in a parking lot while changing the 15-month-old's diaper, both parents of Emmanuel Haro faced murder charges.  Rebecca Haro faces a preliminary hearing  May 29. The search continues as we learn a vast area near Nancy's home is unsearched and why have investigators shifted, now searching for a gray van.

Alex Murdaugh could be getting a new trial. FITSNews is reporting a "reliable source" as saying the five member South Carolina Supreme Court panel has voted unanimously in favor of granting Murdaugh a new trial.  The appeal filed by Murdaugh's attorneys heavily features allegations of improper influence by former Colleton County clerk of court Rebecca "Becky" Hill during the 2023 murder trial.

The fallout continues for D4vd as we go through the prosecution documents line by line. We learn in the singer can be tracked to Santa Barbara county. This is the area where Celeste's passport card was found by Caltrans workers. The area is only open sunrise to sunset. Residents of a small rural Idaho town of turn out in force to join authorities searching for a 5-year-old boy reported missing. He was last seen in a field near his family home. Ultimately, tips lead police to the home of a neighbor, Sarah Wondra.  Police spent more than a week excavating the home's backyard. Amy Hillyard, co-owner of Farley's Coffee with husband, Chris, has not been seen since Wednesday, March 25th, the Oakland community praying for her safe return. 

Oakland, California police initially release information that Amy last seen near her home in the Cleveland Heights neighborhood around 2 pm, but surveillance footage places her near Dimond Park, about two miles away, at 4:30 pm that afternoon. Searches of the park have not revealed new leads.
