Scott Peterson is convicted of murdering his pregnant wife, Laci Peterson, and their unborn son, Connor, in 2003. He is sentenced to death, which is later overturned. He is now serving life in prison without parole.

Lori Paige, a student at  Griffin Middle School in Tallahassee, Florida is one of Margaret Summers' favorite students. The paraprofessional says the 12-year-old is attentive and smart but Lori goes missing.  Now nearly two years later, Lori's body has been found, and her father charged. 

Lori Paige and her father had a routine. He worked nights and Lori stayed in their home with trusted adults nearby if she needed help. The day Lori went missing, her father went to work, but when he came home, he reported Lori missing.
