Rutgers' offense carried RU to a 45-17 win over Miami (Ohio). RU's wide receivers are elite, and our RB room is very deep. Kaliakmanis was quite good again and the offense hummed along at will seemingly. The defense struggled plenty again, as Rutgers continues to look for defensive improvement. The lack of a pass rush and ongoing awful safety play continue to haunt a defense that needs to quickly improve before Big 10 play.

Rutgers hung on and beat a talented Ohio team with an excellent QB, to win 34-31 at Rutgers stadium. For better or worse, it played out mostly as expected with Rutgers' offense mostly humming along nicely, and Rutgers' D looking mostly poor. Greg Schiano's decision with under minutes left to go for it on 4th and 7 won the game. I discuss the huge balls it takes to make that call and how that was the only way Rutgers was winning this game.
